I'm not yet sure how "cool" I am, but then...I'm not yet 100 years old, either.

Good job being the hind end of your party’s mascot.

Those are good ones Larai. Its sad to see our greatest generation is almost gone.

Thank you Rose!.. One of the biggest lessons I learned from my g'pa.. was that you Never stop learning, the minute you THINK you know everything you stagnate...Sounds like Wood is of that mind set... I miss my kidhood!.. I miss learning things from my elders.. my dad will be 80 in December... Learned so much from that man!!.. Got to see him at our family reunion in Vegas...Everytime I see him, and can speak for others in my family, we all feel like it's the last time we are gonna see him.. course I guess I've felt that way for 20 years with him.. COPD/Emphesema.. Heart monitor & Pace maker, 24/7 oxygen..but he's still here...for which I am grateful!!..

First; wood- FU$K you.

Larai...Sorry Ma'am,I was clearing my throat.
All the people since we got this nation rolling have generated awesome kids, who have done wonderful things. There are signs that things are getting bad,and if that's God's Will, then,oh well.
However,I do know a lot of younger people that fill me with Hope,my daughter and her husband, and their friends, among them.(Bragging a little, but she gives me an honest insight ).
SOMETHING is going to give...We've done our best, now it's pray and hope the next crew can handle the job.
Thanks for your post.

Leave him be, he will get old one of these days and maybe sick too. I was once told that old people don't know anything, this was by a younger person. Sure would love to be there when they get old.

I described my sons work ethics and drive to another person and he said that was because my son was from another era! I told him no my son is 26 years old! I had him when I was 3 months shy of 40! I guess it’s good to be raised by an older person! Instead of a teenager!

That's why their generation is referred to,not only as "The Greatest Generation"but the "The Silent Generation, also.Could it be that they are the most profoundly ethical generation,or simply did not have the conviction of courage to demand and live the concept of freedom as the concept is defined, instead of living within the social parameters that the status quo Ogliarchs demand that they do,and not t***sgress or usurp the Ogliarchs policies .(which do not always adhere to constituional policies) Are they the greatest Generation? or is it the rebellious "Baby Boomers"- whom questioned and rebelled against the status quo; to live free as they possibly could.

All you did is made the case for the contention that America is dumbing down, and morally decaying ??????

You're a reliable dipstick, I'll give you that.

Every time you say "I was thinking" I want to ask does it hurt.

I'm just 69 with no plans to kick off just yet. I was in Vietnam (a couple of other wars too),but I think I'm a generation in between the WWII ones. However, there is a generation after me with the same qualities that Larai found. I wouldn't call them Millennials they find it a dirty word more like the #walkaway crowd who have gone to the other side.
