My sister just called... They have just finished trick or treating...
Her daughter had quite the time of it... Her son earned himself a time out and no candy until the weekend...
My niece has a friend from school... A young girl from Africa...Muslim family... And for Halloween my niece decided she wanted to dress up as a Muslim... My sister said sure....
But when they went to the costume shop they were told that that would be offensive... Somehow...
I admit to not getting it...
I mean... You just cut eye holes in a sheet...It's basically a blue ghost...
My niece wound up being an indian princess...
Which was ok...
Because we're Metis...
Which means she wasn't really dressing up...
Confusing no?

I was a pirate from ages three to seventeen...Excepting the one year when I was cousin It... Stupid bet that one....

Lots of trick or treaters all very polite and had mom and dad with them! Lots of teens too also very polite! It was nice!!
