I’ve been extra harsh on you lately and for that you have my sincere apology. Having lost a few friends in the last year and knowing one wasn’t saved (I hold out hope he was at the last) hit me much harder than I realized. That excuses nothing.
Know this - it is my sincere desire that you are born again. That is why I was focussing on you because you look to be right on the cusp. I was an ‘almost Christian’ for a long time and only by the grace of God did I recognize it with the help of some good people to whom I owe a debt I can never begin to repay.
I hope you find that narrow road if you’re not on it.

My sincere sympathies for your loss... It is never easy... I will add them to my prayers... Especially your one friend... There is always hope...Such is the joy of our Lord...

And despite my often volatile and condescending responses I do appreciate the sentiment... And it does force me to think at times... Which I always welcome....
