We are all sinners! That is indisputable.
However, Bill Cosby is more than a sinner. He is a criminal.
Bill Cosby confessed his crimes to reporters saying “You know what, It’s true, I molested all of those women, but so what?” and began to laugh hysterically.
American comedian Bill Cosby has been the subject of publicized sexual assault allegations, with the earliest incidents allegedly taking place in the mid-1960s. He has been accused by over 50 women of rape, drug-facilitated sexual assault, sexual battery, child sexual abuse, and sexual misconduct.
It appears that a core feature of his M.O. included drugging his victims, targeting youthful women who were starting out in the entertainment industry, and using his clout to silence them in the aftermath of his sexual assaults (if you still think he is innocent, it is called denial).
This could be a “teachable moment” regarding how many sexual predators operate. Mr. Cosby, one of the world’s best-known entertainers, was found guilty in April of 2018 of three counts of aggravated indecent assault against Ms. Constand, at the time a Temple University employee he had mentored.
During the trial, Ms. Constand became something of a proxy for other women, more than 50, who have accused Mr. Cosby of similar sexual misconduct. In the last few years, he has lost television deals, honorary college degrees and his reputation as “America’s Dad.”
Bill Cosby’s wife filed for divorce because he confessed to the molestation of all the women who have publicly accusing the comedian of sexual misconduct. Many of the women say he drugged them before he raped them. Camille wanted a fast, painless divorce and didn’t want any of his money.
This is justice, but justice delayed. He should have been tried and imprisoned in the sixty's when these assaults began.
