The problem with all this impeachment fiasco is not the Democrats. The real problem is the spineless, gutless Republicans and RINOS in Congress. They need to start counterpunching and go on the attack against the Democrats and MSM. They are too silent.

In the 90s, Democrats defended Clinton tooth and nail, and he was guilty. Trump is innocent and the Republicans hardly care.

The Democrats present a united front. The ones who do not favor impeachment, and there are some, are kept silent. Republicans who do not like Trump need to focus on the bigger picture and the horrible precident this will set and hold their peace.

Therein lies the problem; we know he is innocent, we trust the judicial system, ... and for that reason we feel that we do not need to defend him, ... we're just waiting for justice to be done.
In Clinton's case, the democrats defended him, knowing him to be guilty, .... and succeded in getting the dishonest members of the senate at acquit him.
Democrats are most often dishonest, while republicans are most often honest, .... and in total t***h, both sides know that is fact!
That has been true since Day 1 of President Trump's administration and during the following two years, at a time when they had a majority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
The lack of support for this president from the Republicans in the United States Congress, after he was able to win the White House for their party, something both John McCain and Mitt Romney had been unable to accomplish, was and is disgraceful.
They have repeatedly ignored their own sworn fidelity to their oath of office, as they have displayed their disdainful lack of regard for this country's choice of leadership, and for the security of its borders and the safety of its citizens over and over.
If there was a way to impeach and remove this entire U.S. Congress, and start over, it might serve as a wake-up call to all those waiting in the wings who share their lack of honor, trustworthiness and loyalty toward "We The People," their employers, and to this land we all love and cherish.

Yes, I agree. I heard the were thrown out of the judicial committee meeting when they were meeting about impeachment witnesses. If I was a Republican on that committee I'd have refused to leave

Agreed, I think they are waiting until the Senate, but why take a black mark?

After watching the actions of our courts for the past several years, maybe trusting the judiciary isn't such a great idea. Our courts, like our government agencies became totally politicized during the Obama years and too many of their rulings emanate from the judges' personal ideology.

I believe this statement is more fact than opinion.

Or perhaps, they'll reclaim their honor and integrity and do the right thing for the country when the time comes.
