In other words, to paraphrase a well known quotation, 'Ask not what I can do for my country, ask what more I can squeeze out of my v**e'.

Great reasons to be a Democrat.

I'm a Republican because they have the only entrenched incumbency not suicidal enough to do what yours is doing NOW and therefor kick-out-able. Anyone can brag about what they did yesterday.

Wasn't that last one back in the Clinton days?

Anything from the past decade?

The Civil Rights Act was pushed through by Republicans, not Democrats. All the FDR alphabet agencies were a bust had we not gotten involved in WWII.

Woodrow Wilson supported the Russian Revolution, FDR stole the Gold, crafted the Cold War, Lyndon Johnson stole the SS Trust Fund, Jimmy Carter started the Banking Crisis of Mandatory risky unsecured loans w/o making banks increase reserves.

All the other Agencies you are so proud of have become bloated money sink holes making their own laws outside the framework of our Constitution.

If you want The Government to be your mother & father for life, you need to move to a C*******t country.

I got as far as the 40-hour workweek lie and stopped. It was introduced by Henry Ford.

Democrats like to pretend they are the party for the people. That democrat party is dead and gone.

...your word; "partial", is spot- on. It took a nation of people to create and achieve these acts and bills, not just one party.
Some are noble, some are crap, but they were all
created by Americans. And,as was said, this is relatively old...let's talk about what this party has gotten done,ACTUALLY DID,to improve this country in the past ten years.
Please stop practicing d******eness.

Those are precisely the reasons I'm not a Democrat. Constitutionally suspect, many have resulted in the destruction of the family and the replacement of God and religion in our society with government, a goal of the progressive state. Things like that though don't bother people like PeterS because you've got to break a few eggs to make an omelet. You see, another goal of progressivism is not really the betterment of humanity but in power over people.

With your partial list, please tell me Pete, do you like Bernie Sanders, and Warren's socialism proposals?

People are asked by Moody's. Are you better-off today than 5 years ago? Majority said overwhelmingly yes.

Now, what do you think? Will you be better off tomorrow with Sanders or Warren in case majority choose Socialism?
