What is this place, really? What is being accomplished here?

Conservatives, Christians, Republicans, and anyone else who supports president Trump and stands for the principles upon which our nation was founded continue to post their support for Trump and for those principles. Some of their defenses are a bit shaky and some are very strong.

Many of their comments are solid in pointing out the meaning and the superb benefits and advantages of living those principles and being an American.

Liberals, l*****ts, democrats, atheists, anti-religionists, and progressives on OPP are continually attacking president Trump and those of us who support him. Following the cues from the progressive media sycophants, they hammer and slam and vilify our leaders, our American system of government, and our way of life without ever once expounding on how the progressive political agenda is going to MAGA.

Corrupting our Constitution or abolishing it completely, abolishing the rule of law in favor of dictating what is right and what is wrong, imposing higher taxes, growing an even bigger and more costly government, adding more restrictive regulations, federalizing our police forces, tearing down all border security, taking over private corporations and businesses, implementing single payer healthcare, free healthcare, free education, free this and free that, confiscating private firearms, further dividing the American people by race, religion, economic status, promoting r****m and anti-Semitism, instituting infanticide, all for what?

Establishing a godless socialist oligarchy modeled on Marx' manifesto. In essence, fundamentally t***sforming America into a police state. This is what the l*****t progs want.

How in God's name will this improve the lives of any or all of us? How will such an authoritarian government establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity?

Hasn't the long history of tyranny taught us anything?

I'm really getting tired of opening this site and seeing the grotesque, the obscene, the rage and the h**e constantly posted by l*****ts. So, I'm considering my options. I'll think about it. Maybe I'll go, maybe I won't. I'm praying for a miracle for our people and our nation.

I think I call it "fighting the good fight." And I think all the hatred that is being hurled at Trump and his supporters is led by a very evil force. Trump is also fighting the good fight. And the evil force behind the hatred is completely inflamed by the fact that people are standing by him and supporting him. In my opinion, this is a fight of good vs. evil....and you, Blade, are one of the warriors that are desperately needed to keep the goodness front and center. And even though it may seem fruitless to you, believe me, it most assuredly gives me the incentive to keep on going, as long as I know there are people like you standing alongside the rest of us who are aware of all the hatred and are doing our best to fight it. Please don't give up the fight - you are an inspiration to a lot of us on this forum!!

If you decide to go, please consider a break and not a good-by. You are insightful and considerate, you would be missed...even if it is only a short break.

I hope you don't leave. I have been on for over a year now. I have opinions like everyone else but keep them to myself most of the time. Most of the l*****ts I view as i***ts. You will never be able to change their minds. However, one sometimes will post something that will make me think about something in a different way, which is not bad. I have enjoyed your posts because you have researched and give inciteful opinions. That is rare these days. If you decide not to stay, I am sorry and will miss your posts.

Blade, I’ve followed you all the way since 2014. All your statement and defenses to our conservative and Christian values have been so compelling. I am impressed, and I believe that among all conservative bloggers in defense of our Constitutional Republic, our president, and our Christian way of life, you have put up the most valuable contributions to our Republican Party , country, and to all of us. I think you are very patriotic and valuable servant to our republic. Please don’t leave. We will surely miss you if you do.

Hey, y'all, thank you so much for your kind words, a little encouragement goes a long way.

When I was 5 years old, an extraordinary experience inspired me to be an American soldier. Not necessarily a man in uniform carrying a gun, but rather a defender of our country under any and all circumstances. My father was responsible for that, God bless him.

Two weeks after I graduated from HS, I was in the US Navy. I gave the Marines a shot at me, but the Navy recruiter beat them to the punch. Within a year of my discharge I was hired by the city fire department. I served in both faithfully and gave it my best.

Anyway, I'm still here. Haven't come to terms with my mixed emotions about this forum.

Thanks again for your support, I truly appreciate that.

So you ARE the fighter I think you are! And your posts do make a lot of sense and give us pause for thought. My dad was a turret gunner in WWII, and from talking to him a lot about it (all my life) I learned that he was taught that we don't walk away from a fight when the fight is a good thing for our country. Even if it means you have to die!! I think you must have heard that too and know what I mean.

Maybe take a break to take a breath and think about it, Blade. But I hope you realize that there is worth in putting forth your ideas here and other places. It may not seem like it's worth a lot to you, but it just might be that diamond in the rough that takes hold of someone who is doubtful, and sheds a light on them....like a light bulb over their head in the cartoons. You will probably never know if what you say lights up that bulb, but wouldn't it be nice to think that you had something to do with just one person seeing what is going on because of what you had to say? You have a gift with writing things clearly and making people see both sides of an issue. I will dearly miss that if you leave here.
