Nahum chapter 3

Verse 1 - 3

Whenever you see the word “woe” in the bible, whoever the woe applies to will have a bad future. In this case, God would slay the Assyrian army of 185,000 in one night. After this, they would vanish from the pages of history.

Verse 4 - 7

God is against one world government and socialism. He wants borders respected. There is a line we should nott cross. Some things just aren’t done. Socialism destroys nations. Capitalism prospers nations. One day we will learn.

Verse 8 - 10

The Assyrians were just people. They had no right to go into other nations and take them over.

Verse 11 - 13

When God is against a nation, they find themselves stuck on stupid. God is against this natiion. We are stuck on stupid. Gender cannot be chosen. Men should not have sex with men. The smell should tell you something.

Verse 14 - 19

None of our preparations for the LORD’S day will do any good. Read Amos 9:1 - 3. When God destroyed the Assyrian army, the nation disappeared from the pages of history.
