What is NBA?

Maybe they are being impartial and unbiased?

Oh.... I thought it must be a news Network that I hadn't heard about...

Not that their opinions matter, but how have they sided with China?

If the NBA folded tomorrow we’d have the worlds tallest garbage men.

The GM of the Houston Rockets sent out a tweet in solidarity with the people protesting for their freedom in Hong Kong. The Chinese dictatorship lost its mind and responded as you would expect. The NBA released an innocuous statement in English and a groveling sycophantic apology in Manderan.

Here is a link to a Times article explaining it in better detail, I am unsure if the Times is available online in China, if not let me know and I will see if I can find you an uncensored source for the information.

Oddly enough it is not opening on my phone.. The Times usually does... But I don't have Wi-Fi at the moment and that sometimes is a factor... I'll try again when I get home... If not I'll take you up on the offer

Its too bad. You’re right its all about the money. Not principle.

We shouldn’t be so dependent on China.

Like I said, the Times is usually good...

LOL...

China really has its panties in a knot over this...

Found a couple articles in regards to it...

Alibaba pulled Rocket merchandise from its online venues...

CCTV will cancel broadcasting of the NBA...

And China will quit cooperating with the league...

The NBA is about to lose a bundle over this.. Or maybe just the Rockets if the NBA can kiss enough yellow hiney...

For what it's worth, I support the right of the GM to make the statements he made... China has a history of going over the deep end when someone says something they dislike...
