Former t*********rs warn Supremes to leave 'sex' alone
Brief filed in case that challenges understanding that in 1964 word meant male or female
WND Staff By WND Staff

Nine people who have experienced the dysphoria that causes people to desire to be the opposite g****r are warning the justices on the U.S. Supreme Court to leave alone the legal definition of "sex."

When Congress wrote the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which forbids discrimination based on "sex," it was understood to mean male or female.

But three cases before the high court contend Congress also had in mind g****r dysphoria and sexual identity.

In response, Walt Heyer, Jamie Shupe, Linda Seiler, Hacsi Horvath, Clifton Francis Burleigh Jr., Laura Perry, Jeffrey Johnston, Jeffrey McCall and Kathy Grace Duncan have filed a friend-of-the-court brief urging the justices to affirm that "sex" in the federal statute mean male and female.

They relate their own life experiences in the brief.

"Heyer is a man who was diagnosed with g****r dysphoria, took hormones and underwent surgery to adopt the physical appearance of the opposite sex, and lived for eight years appearing to be a woman. But those steps did not resolve his problems and he attempted suicide," the brief says. "He was diagnosed with dissociative disorder and was able to resolve his g****r dysphoria through psychotherapy to effectively treat the dissociative disorder. His feelings of wanting to be the opposite sex went away, and he was able to return to living with a male appearance and be happy."

Other stories are similar.

"Hacsi Horvath is a male who identified as a t*********r female for over 12 years. Mr. Horvath is an expert in clinical epidemiology and researcher at USC and now warns people of the risks and dangers associated with sex-reassignment surgery."

The brief comes in a case against R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes of Michigan by Anthony Stephens, an employee who decided he was no longer a he and began dressing like a woman. The business, respectful of the grieving families it served, has a dress code that requires men to dress like men. Stephens was dismissed when he refused to follow it and then claimed discrimination.

The former t*********rs wrote: "This emerging group of people with g****r identity issues are suffering from emotional, psychological, or social identity discomfort far deeper than new pronouns can rectify.

"Doctors admit they do not know who will remain g****r-dysphoric long term, yet they condone g****r identity change, socially or medically, for youths and adults.

"This is abuse. It is abuse to tell a person he or she can select a g****r and truly become the opposite sex. It is a false hope. Such a suggestion is factually a lie, a lie with life-long destructive ramifications.”

The brief notes the nine individuals "make the point in this brief that sex is binary, and the definition of 'sex,' particularly as defined in section 703 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 ... refers to male and female as grounded in biology – it is binary, fixed at conception, and objectively verifiable."

"Differences exist between males and females at conception at the biochemical and cellular levels, and result directly from the defining genotypic difference between male and female mammals. An XY (male) sex c********e constitution versus an XX (female) sex c********e constitution.

"Every cell of a male is male, and every cell of a female is female."

Those seeking a change in the definition of sex are suffering from a "false belief that they really are a different sex than their biology."

Linked complications could include "depressions, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, dissociative disorder, schizophrenia, body dysmorphic," the brief says.

Affirming such afflictions is "more likely to cause harm than good," they say.

A better course would be to seek "to align one's mind with reality."

"We need to stop pretending that doctors have scientific backing for their recommendations for individuals with g****r dysphoria," the brief says.

"The effect of such 'affirmation' is the destruction of core identity. It plants the notion inside the minds of people that the essence of who they are is wrong. They are not someone to be loved or embraced, but eradicated."

Two other cases, also dealing with the t*********r issue, are being considered by the Supreme Court.

This line was sucking: "We need to stop pretending that doctors have scientific backing for their recommendations for individuals with g****r dysphoria,"

Far too many now believe that psychology is a mature science... And that psychologists are on par with medical professionals...

Good article

I expect they won’t stay away from it as the country becomes more secular and this g****r confusion accelerates

Been hearing about a lot of cases where those who’ve tried to change their sex with an operation now regret it.

Walt Heyer has an excellent site where he discusses the subject, and he is one of the victims of this fraud.
Its called "SexChange Regret" and he also has a number of books that are very helpful. One of the most interesting of his books is about his grandmother and the abuse that she did to him.

I'll check that out. It makes no sense that this is encouraged and pushed on young people.

The book is called Kid Dakota and the secret at Grandmas house. Used copies of most of his books are available at ABE books at a reasonable price.
