Thanks for posting this, Peewee.

Tommy Ice is a great author on Biblical centered Christian Theology.

He's a born-again Bible believing Christian, and not a sacramentalist.

Sacramentalism: - belief in or use of sacramental rites, rituals, or sacred objects; specifically : belief that the sacraments are an effective means of receiving grace and necessary for salvation.

Been listening to Tommy for years. Glad you enjoyed it. Got to order Jonathan Cahn's new book The Oracle soon. I've been watching him on Skywatch for three weeks and he's just letting out snippets of the book and now I want the whole enchilada.

Sacrament - an outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace. Baptism is a sacrament and fulfills the definition unless you do not believe (personally) that baptism confers grace.

So tell me something. Unless you get off creating tension amongst Christians why is it necessary to sharpen your stick and start poking other Christians? You create enmity you're not defending the faith.

Clarifying Peewee's blanket statement that "this is what Christians believe about Israel" is not an attack against anyone.

It is a statement of fact that within Christianity, there is great variation of belief toward God's future role for Israel, or whether they have any role at all.

Historical and factual information is not provocative for any reasoning person.

Today there are approximately 100 million American church members who have very little to no understanding of Bible prophecy. These church members are from replacement theology churches that don’t teach Bible prophecy and who look at prophetic scriptures as allegorical and not literal.

Consequently, they do not understand the importance of Israel to the God of Israel, or God’s redemptive plan for Israel and the nations, both found in Bible prophecy.

Dominion theology (also known as dominionism) is a group of Christian political ideologies that seek to institute a nation governed by Christians based on their personal understandings of biblical law. Extents of rule and ways of achieving governing authority are varied. For example, dominion theology can include theonomy, but does not necessarily involve advocating Mosaic law as the basis of government. The label is applied primarily toward groups of Christians in the United States.

Prominent adherents of these ideologies are otherwise theologically diverse.

Kingdom Now theology states that although Satan has been in control of the world since the Fall, God is looking for people who will help him take back dominion. Those who yield themselves to the authority of God's apostles and prophets will take control of the kingdoms of this world, being defined as all social institutions, the "kingdom" of education, the "kingdom" of science, the "kingdom" of the arts, etc.

I've created nothing in this post, nor do I control how you perceive it.

To accuse me of violence, even metaphorically, toward any Christian, is a grave error.

"For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; 26 and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, 'The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will remove ungodliness from Jacob,'” (Rom. 11:25-26).

John 4:48
Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

I get so bloody tired of your arrogance. You injected sacraments into your comments, which had not one thing to do with peewee's posting, knowing many of us recognize and understand the grace received through Sacraments. Yes, you intentionally use your own personal opinions to inflame and mock. You continue to use your bible like a club content that your knowledge and understanding of Christianity is superior to anyone else. Isn't that the sin of pride? Every sin has its roots planted in pride. Do you consider a closed mind and an open mouth a virtue?.

So far as "looking for signs" isn't that exactly what folks like yourself believe is prophetic? Remember Hal Lindsey? Not a single one of his popular so called prophecies came true unless he predicted he'd become wealthy stirring up false hope and predictions.. I wonder, did he predict his multiple marriages? How many doomsday prophets have been accurate? The only time the Trinity is available to us is in the present; not in the past, not in the future. So why are those recognized as experts on prophecies dwelling on future events instead of putting their efforts in the present? Christ, in His humanity, did not know when the Parousia would happen giving us an example, for our own humanity, to live in the present. Yet every time some charlatan publishes a new book on prophecy folks flock to a bookstore hoping they will become better informed than was Jesus. However, if participating in these fantasies floats the boat for some, then use free will and continue to march to your own music.

I suggest we put our comments to rest now. There is nothing to be gained here by continuing this dialogue.

No use getting upset. If it doesn't apply, let it fly. We all have to work out our own salvation. If you want to debate, debate. If not, don't.

But I would advise doing something about Francis. The man is losing it. From attacking American priests and Christians for getting too chummy and not obeying him without question, to walls, immigration, climate change, ETs, and pedophile priests, he is causing a crisis of faith for many. It's almost like he really does want to be the anti-Christ. Guess Israel wanting to rebuild her Temple is making him feel uneasy these days. Now he is sucking up to Muslims and wants all faiths to unite under his leadership, of course. The guy is nuts. He's certainly no Vicar of Christ, he hardly even mentions Him. He's a lousy Pope and politician.
If Israel is the apple of God's eye and the Temple gets rebuilt then the Vatican becomes a second banana so to speak. Hope you can handle that. Francis won't be able to. That might explain his dislike for Israel. But I'm slipping into prophecy, so I'll stop since you don't believe that stuff. Even though the Bible clearly has a lot of prophecy in it. Like Daniel and other books. The further we drift from Christ the easier we are to fool.

We have our problems too with our pastors and Seminaries. A lot of our Christian and political leaders were prepared to lead us into FEMA camps. But they have to disarm and get rid of Christians and conservatives first. That's the only thing that explains the all-out, full-frontal assault on America. But a funny thing happened, Trump won and the anti-God left is now circling the drain. Nationalism is making a come back. Maybe we can still use those FEMA camps for the pedophile left who are after our children. GITMO can't hold them all. Just my opinion and I never knocked Catholic followers of Christ. Just this Pope who thinks he sits in Jesus's seat. He doesn't. He is a cheap imitation of the real thing. He's just a man prone to sin like the rest of us. I even think he may be the leader of one of the largest organized pedophile rings in the world. I don't like to think that but the evidence is growing. Time will tell. Most of those sealed indictments Barr has are for pedophiles and child traffickers. Hope I'm wrong. But this Pope is for open borders too. Too many weird things about this Pope.

Revelation 18:10: "...the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of Prophecy."

Jesus said - Keep Watch!

The disciples came to Jesus and asked, “what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3)

In His response He gave two major commands.

First, "Watch out that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4).

Second, “keep watch” (Matthew 24:42).

The disciples asked him for a sign of His Second Coming and Jesus described several signs and events that would lead up to His return. After describing these things, He told them to “keep watch.” He also gave them an analogy as He had done so many times before. He said,

Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened (Matthew 24:32-34).

First, Jesus had already told His followers about all the things that they would see before His return and then He said, “keep watch.”

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.

That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. "Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? (Matthew 24:35-45).

Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. It's like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with his assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch. Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back--whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!' (Mark 13:33-37)

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour (Matthew 25:13).

From what is written we can understand what Jesus means when He says “keep watch”? He is saying that there are many cares and concerns in this life which tend to distract and deceive us from the Kingdom of God. However, He expects His followers to remain alert and keep watch for the things He told us about. Then we will not be surprised by His return. Jesus even warns us saying, “See, I have told you ahead of time” (Matthew 24:25).

This is the meaning and intent of prophecy. It is God's future history.

Thank you, Peewee, for your insight and warning of heresy in the works of this man, Francis.

Heresy is any belief or theory that is strongly at variance with established beliefs or customs, in particular the accepted beliefs of a church or religious organization.

A lot of priests and cardinals want him to step down. I don't think it's just his theology but that is the main reason.

The pope is not in my "chain of command" and I quite agree our Roman brethren have valid concerns with him. My concern is with Miz Z and her attack against anyone who believes differently than she does. She's sometimes an antagonist force feeding her personal theology which she's entitled to personally believe. I don't support her personal theology and there are millions of Christians who would take issue with those personal beliefs.

There is a gulf of difference between "keep watch" and "predicting." You are aware, I presume, that the early converts were expecting Jesus to return in their lifetime. They kept looking while doing nothing much to evangelize. That inactivity soon changed.

Maybe we should all take some time and review Romans 14 for a little perspective...

Help us to remember: "In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity and love."

And help us also to remember the four "dos" if we are to build a fellowship of unity amidst our diversity:
• Resolving ourselves to never be a source of stumbling to others.
• Living as citizens of the Kingdom of God, concentrating on the eternals rather than the externals.
• Actively pursuing that which benefits other believers.
• Doing all that we do in glorifying God with a clear conscience.

Sacramentalist is not a censored word, nor is it in any way derogatory.

It is a concise way of differentiating between those modern denominations that support Israel, and those, that for the large part do not, in response to their method of interpreting the prophecy of the Bible.

If one word makes you believe you are somehow under attack, this should be a matter of personal concern for you.

This is a word that was coined by Augustine of Hippo in the 4th century.

sac·ra·men·tal·ism (săk′rə-mĕn′tl-ĭz′əm)
n.
1. The doctrine that observance of the sacraments is necessary for salvation and that such participation can confer grace.
2. Emphasis on the efficacy of a sacramental.
