Saw this. Can’t imagine a once major newspaper would print a story and leave out the fact that the alleged victim can’t recall the assault. Then people wanting to run the country throw the Constitution out the window and proclaim the accused guilty. These people are a danger to our way of life.

The New York Times tossed a mouldy “bombshell” bone out to the drooling-for-revived-scandals Democrats on Friday. Like ravenous wolves p**********l hopefuls Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Beto O’Rourke, Cory Booker, and Julian Castro, among others seized upon the bone as if it were their last meal, which unbeknownst to them most likely was.

Their cry to “Impeach Kavanaugh!” was soon overshot by an 11th-hour ‘update’ from the New York Times, including that they missed the significant detail that several friends of the alleged victim in their bombshell story said she did not recall the supposed sexual assault in question at all.

Given that the senate refused to conduct any attempts to credibly use FBI information it remains to be addressed by a real senate confirmation by the rules. Kavanaugh lied in his confirmation hearing, how hard would it have been for the GOP to eliminate him and say pick another?

The senate confirmation process with republicans running it has been broken, any normal process where negatives are brought to light would result in the expected rejection, which would have eliminated every one of Trump's appointees that have been embroiled in scandal, it was predictable and the system is supposed to be used to qualify people and reject those who should be rejected.

This McConnell senate will confirm a stinking turd rather than simply tell the president to pick another, now many of Trump's positions are filled with temporary non confirmed acting heads.

It was once a major newspaper but not in the recent memory of the young who still hang on every word. These people are a threat to our very life’s blood. Couldn’t agree with you more.
