There's a major problem with these veterans' opinions that brings into question their knowledge of firearms.

They boldly state that the military M4 carbine and M16 are the same weapon as the AR15. This is not true.
Some of them fall for that old liberal meme that the 2nd Amendment is 200 years old and does not apply to the kinds of firearms we have today. Again, this is not true. The 2nd Amendment does not specify any type of firearm, therefore it applies to any firearm that a man or woman is capable of using.

The two rifles in the upper two photos are semi-automatics. Both are chambered to fire the .223 Remington or NATO 5.56mm x 45 ammunition. Both can be loaded with magazines with the capacities of 5 rds, 10 rds, 20 rds, or 30 rds. The two rifles are approximately the same length and weight.

The bottom photo is the civilian semi-auto version of the AK 47. 7.62mm x 39 ammunition.

You've convinced yourself to the point of an obsession that semi-automatic firearms are the scourge of the earth, that they have the same capabilities as military weapons, and that they are more lethal than any other type of firearm. Keep this up and you'll spend the rest of your life trying to convince American citizens who own and shoot semi-autos that your obsession is real.

Exactly!!! There is or was an l***q group (the pink pistols) who liked shooting. Never mind that they were woefully behind the times when it came to the military. According to them in 2014 the Marines had just allowed women to be snipers in Afghanistan. Perhaps the biggest bs I've heard in my life. If someone can do a job, their sex doesn't matter. And in battlefield operations you do use the resources at hand. An example: my niece is also a sniper. Only a moron or a stickler for rules wouldn't use her. Sorry to go on a tangent.
