Since we produce more gas than we use why does any other country matter, gas costs what it takes for US oil companies to produce it, but the reality is they charge wh**ever they want anyway.
If gas prices go to high Trump could always do what Obama did, tell the oil industry to roll them back or he would declare a state of emergency and roll them back to $2.25 a gallon.

Oil production is not a problem for the US any more. We are currently making our own. It's politics that drive the prices here at home. Blame the higher prices on politicians....not our own oil producing companies. It's ridiculous how politicians have taken over corporate business.
