How desperate must you be to have a green success, that you would put solar panels in a roadway? I admit that my American p***e is a little ruffled. The French actually pulled off this engineering triumph ahead of any America effort. I really would have thought that those crazy C****es in California would have done this first.

I had a slight notion that might be the case, but a good joke should be taken seriously.

Those dumb Frenchmen and Europeans... and they spent money on trying to make a landmark construction project....

While we dumb americans let the orange mist in the white house spend billions so the coal people can do this to us and our future..

Oh for dumb!!!

do you find value in money spent for the coal goal????

The current recommendations from us on the right is to increase natural gas usage and switch power and road t***sport (18 wheelers) to natural gas; cleaner and more efficient and less polluting. We are already seeing reductions in CO2 emission and pollutions related to gas and oil and coal due to some who have switched already. But no, the left and their "candidates" oppose mining natural gas, which we have in huge abundance. WE are now wondering if they really are concerned about the planet or about the use of c*****e c****e as a political tool.

The french idea is good but your criticism of the Trump admin is inappropriate considering the left's other positions.

While I think that any single idea, even from a group which I support, that does not mean I would stop backing the entire plans of said group.. A single idea seldom negates all of the other ideas..

But I do think your idea of natural gas and vehicles is a good one..

Never the less.. fracking should be monitored.. It clearly can raise some problems..

Agree. In it's early days the leaky wells were a problem but that is mostly solved and if properly monitored, is controlled.

Fracking is left to each state to regulate it within. Some states monitor better than others.

Some states educate better as well. It IS a states issue, for sure!

The concept was not all bad, but the technology was not ready and the specifics wrong. Same project in Morocco might be more successful with some improvements in the material.
I look on it as a worthwhile experiment that got a negative result. Time to move on.
