What makes it bigger is the small airport by the Trump resort, that Trump describes as a major international airport. This airport was apparently going to go under, it doesn't take much intelligence to figure out that this could be pretty hard on a resort that depends on this airport to get customers, a resort that by all reports is struggling.

So then the dynamics of how it came to be that the air force would use this small base when they basically have bases all over the world...
...that they would refuel there with $20 million of overpriced fuel when they do not have to
...that they would overnight and send people over to an over priced resort

This is going to be interesting to see who put the fix in on the air force helping keep a small failing airport crucial to a Trump failing property. I'm sure congressional inquiries will be met with the usual responses of executive privilege and national security.

Executive privilege, national security, and conservatives not giving a damn. Think of the uproar if Obama or a president Hillary had done this. This would have been enough for impeachment right there. But, oh, we are talking about Trump here and the sweetheart of every right-wing fruitbat out there. What he does, or has done in his name is irrelevant. There is nothing he can do that is wrong...so long as he continues to pander to the heart of conservative ideology...which he does non-stop...
