Spot on Nav...

Was that rambling little soliloquy from guru supposed to enlighten us philosophically..or was he simply 'putting us on notice' that ignoring all the wisdom he routinely (and graciously) share's with us was going to backfire??? Apparently, we don't have a clue about just who we are dealing with here..but it was pretty clear..we had better quit underestimating this 'deep thinker' (and/or his obvious superior intellect.....).

New information that opposes already formed belief causes anger and denial, they will shut down and refuse to hear anything else.

Thinkers have the ability to absorb new information that is not what they want to hear.

Faced with opposing facts, believers resort to attacks on unrelated and irrelevant, think about responses to a Trump incident with the "but what about Hillary or Obama"?

So, by framing the question in the way you did, you automatically take away any comparison to them, which is unfair.

And I love the way you say “Thinkers have the ability to absorb new information”, like you are some kind of intellectual, woodie.

Your crazier than usual lately, even for you, are you feeling alright?

Yes, we Trump supporters are very angry people. Angry because the democrats that ran for Congress promised us utopia, and all I see them doing is rag about the president and nothing else. Nothing in the way of legislation.

Sometimes you’re a thinker but you’re often a believer too.

I believe and also am a very higher thinking person that knows that l*****ts are now absolutely insane and need psychiatric help.

I've seen this from both sides. But far less thinking goes into using an example of a similar but worse incident involving someone else; than to respond with a personal attack such as calling the one you don't have a logical answer for a r****t, Islamiphobe, or other totally unrelated name, don't you think?

But there are people on both sides who will hear a news story from their favorite news outlet and believe it simply because it was told by that news outlet. From myself, who gets my news mostly online where I can immediately check out the facts by going to the source in most cases; I can say I see far more of this from the left. And when I challenge the accuracy of a Fox story and present the documentation of their error, the majority of Fox news listeners will grudgingly accept the story was wrong. When I do the same with those whose favorite is CNN or Wapo; I almost always get a personal attack.

Now I'm waiting for the anger.

BS, what you are really doing is saying you are a superior human being and bashing people who both think and have faith. Still pushing your divide and conquer strategy and to hell with your fellow man and unity.
