Beto suggests that America is at fault for everything....
and electing that bastard would make America the fault of every stupid asinine thing he comes up with. Can anyone please tell me why he is relevant any more, if ever. He's in the same class as AOC and you can't get much lower then that.

America isn't at fault for everything, but does bear responsibility for a lot of unpleasant stuff. That is the inevitable consequence of sticking our noses into everybody's business.
Here's a hint: If America was so brilliant, able to tell the rest of the world how to make and protect democracies, police human rights and everything else we meddle in, how is it that we still have homelessness, poverty, lack of basic healthcare, rampant corruption in every level of Government, third world level infant and maternal mortality rates and the highest incarceration numbers?

If America is so bad then why people are dying to get here, huh????
Because there worse places to live, there's no doubt about that. I just wish we'd actually live up to the ideals we publish.
Stating "at least we aren't as bad as........................." as an excuse to ignore our own sins, is a piss poor way to live.

Fine, don't try to improve things or fix anything, because we're good enough. One can be proud of one's country and still see the blemishes. If one loved their country so much, they'd want to see it become blemish free.

Of course there is always room for improvement, nevertheless i would never want to live in any other country then this one!!!!...

The last time I saw his support, he didn't seem to have enough to get a percentage point.

This is one thing you've posted that I do agree with. We shouldn't be sticking our noses into the internal affairs of other nations. As John Adams said we wish the rest of the world the best in their pursuits of democracy but are the stewards of only our own.
It was James Monroe with his doctrine that started to change that view. The change really came to fruition with T. Woodrow Wilson's war 'to make the world safe for democracy.' It was completed with FDR's goading of the Japanese to attack us. Horrified that we should have known, was used to justify the founding of the CIA which was opposed by conservative Republicans such as Sen. Robert Taft. Now our presence on the world stage is simply accepted. It should be questioned.
Please note the Wilson and FDR are progressive heroes. Another of progressivism's evil
