Life is a big Ponzi Scheme.

If you live long enough & play your card right you can come out ahead.
If you have good insight on life & you make the right choices early on you can get ahead.

IT IS NOT A GAME FOR THE FAINT OF HEART
Or those that only wish to live for it all today.

For starters you need to stop supporting a system where those getting the most keep getting more of the most.
You can't let those with the most keep getting more because one day just a few will have it all.
I spent 50 yrs of my life making others rich. In the end they wanted me to thank them for all they did for me.

I have what I have because I was blessed with a couple of aunts who left me some of what they saved.
It didn't hurt to have some money to invest.
Some thing I hope I can leave for my heirs.

I still have much to look forward to in life.

Well run with this idea & see where it takes us.

Floyd, you seem a good man with a big heart. I sincerely hope that your golden years continue to reward you for having led an worthy life. My thoughts are that your heirs have likely been rewarded in having you along their individual journeys through life.

Rock on, my friend

As always.
I say we both have our ducks in a row.

Let me say that there are always wonderful dividends from my investment in my children.
One son was over & fixed a lot of house problems.
I taught him all I knew & gave him lots of my tools & he has taken it along way from where I left off.

I don't seem to ever stop running in to great people.
You are on my good guy list.
I would say you are a big part of why I am & stay on this site.
There are unhappy people on this site.
If they could take a page or 2 out of our play book. I think they would be less mixed up.

Not sure exactly what you are getting at. As a whole many of the rich I have met or seen on T.V. are the most miserable screwed up people I've ever seen. Capitalism is the greatest of all types of economic models. Is it fair? Hell no. Is life? Hell no. What economic model do you recommend? I feel I have paid in way more than my fair share to the govt. coffers. I've prepared for it and live a very comfortable life. I believe true happiness comes in knowing your Savior Jesus Christ, but hey, that's me.

I think I just answered that some where.
I will just say that we need the best parts of both conservatism & liberalism
We mix & match the best parts of both & we may get something that will work good.

Too much of either is not good.

It is people like you & I exchanging thoughts & ideas.
With others adding their thoughts & ideas.
It is what many bring together that what we want will come from.

We already have a system that has many good parts.
We snip a little here & there & add an idea or two here & there.

Over all we are & have better pieces to work with.

We as a nation have much to be proud of.
We need to put all of or best thinkers to the task of really making America great.
Not in the sense it once was but in the sense of what it really could be.

As individuals we need to be united.
Being united is what made America strong & it is needed that way again.

We have let our self's be divided & it is only us that can make us united again.
To much division between our self will only end in failure.
Trust & confidence in our goal is vital.

I don't think either of us needs a world that personal caters to our individual wants & needs.
So I think we both would be able to think & act on what would be good for most people.

We should interest others to join in seeking what needs to be done.
If we both are as pure of thought as we think we are we will soon find out.

Because it needs a Ponzi of a sort to carry out what needs to be done.
Because we don't seek it for personal gain, but only gains for the betterment of all.
There will be a goodness with it.
