And I do mean easily, it has to do with reversing the tax policies that make it more profitable for US based corporations to capitalize on the substantial write offs involved with overseas expense entities.

As it stands US based corporations can bury an array of expenses in their tax expense filings, creative accountants can create billions in sleight of hand expenses that reduce their already low tax rates.

#1...Stop allowing the expenses of overseas manufacturing entities to be used as write offs for US Domestic corporation's taxes. Money spent overseas does nothing for our economy, in fact one strategy is to place highly paid CEO's and consultants on the overseas expenses list. This creates substantially more tax revenues while diminishing the current financial motivations that exist.

#2...Tax these products coming in with tariffs, including the game that's played of making parts for assembly here. The idea here is to make it financially painful to have overseas manufacturing entities.

#3...Reverse subsidies and incentives to bring manufacturing back here, #1 already does that in part because the only way a company can write off expenses is for the expenses to be derived in the states. It is worth the investment in our infrastructure to put on millions of jobs.

Trump's demand that corporations leave China will cause infinite pain in a dozen ways that would be hard to foresee. Perhaps Trump doesn't know how China rolls, but it is a dictatorship in that China does what China wants to do, they can make it incredibly painful for US manufacturers to leave, up to and including virtually taking properties and assets away with little or no compensation. Say a corporation wants to sell a plant, who will buy it and at what price if China puts a sanction on it?
