https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/22/us/politics/joe-biden-trump-2020.htmlDespite the gap between Biden's feet-on-the-ground support and his leading poll numbers, support for Joe Biden is milquetoasty. On balance.
As Jill Biden articulates in this article, the fact that Biden is the only one shown in polls to beat Trump among Dem v**ers is what makes him the most important .
But this article explores whether this is the salient factor.
Though Biden is the Democrat's best hope from polls. thats not necessarily
the best predictor of whether he can weather the campaign and go the distance nationally.
Can Sleepy Joe slow-roll his slow dance to the Oval Office?. Can he two-step with his white bread old-hat Obama era policy lines?
And how inclusive is it for an old white man to run against President Trump? Not the identity politics Dems have been fronting....
or can Democrats coast with Joe and ramp up choice number two.
Will Biden go soft? Stay the course? Or will the need to pivot and meet top of the line campaign pace against Trump wear him out?
If so, where would that leave Democrats winding up to E******n Day?
Maybe some of the candidates jumping out of the race as Veep are the only way to beat Trump.

I say let him go against our President!!!Trump will have him for lunch, dinner and breakfast!!!!
I think its weird strategy to have a cast of thousands vying for the Democratic p**********l nomination.
instead of putting support behind one candidate and solidifying the argument nationwide , the Democrats keep dividing the nation piecemeal.
For 2% here 2% there.
Then what? come e******n time they'll just expect blind obedience for whomever they award the nomination to?
Could that backfire?

Had Biden not lost his son so tragically he would be president now. Most Americans are sick and tired of the I***t Pumpkinfuhrer’s ongoing s**tshow and will gladly v**e for a reasonable statesman like Biden.

My guess is Biden wins the Nomination and picks someone like Beto or Joe Kennedy the third someone younger to run in 2024 as I believe that Biden would not run a second term

Obammie's policies which he was right in the room as they were being formed are what will doom him, that's IF he doesn't shoot himself in the foot or higher up every minute. Harris-the folks on twitter are taking her apart. Warren-maybe although miss 1024... The rest no shot.
