Sometimes a rock is just a rock
Reality exists outside of human cognition. Wishing won;t make it so. If you commit certain acts, certain things will happen. If you steal, lie, commit adultery, and murder; eventually you will land in prison. If you walk on railroad tracks, while listening to music on a Sony Walkman, eventually you will be hit by a train. If you walk in traffic, your chances of being struck by a vehicle increase. It is just stupid to walk in the street, expecting cars to drive around you. If you are 5 feet tall, and your husband is 6 feet, how tall do you expect his sons to be when they grow up? We have murdered around 70 million of our own children before they could take their first breath. If a foreign government killed a fraction of that number, it would be looked .at as an act of war. The country would be bombed into the stone age. But we have done it to ourselves. Actions have consequences. Our consequences seem to be we are stuck on stupid. Allowing boys to do burlesque dances and drag queens to read stories to children. I think 1 Thessalonians 5:3 describes the last presidential election. I know this would be a happier and more prosperous nation, if we did what God likes and avoid what He hates.
Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
Psalms 122:9
We must not only avoid negatives, we must actively pursue positives.,
