In-credible!
When I was locked up my only friend for 2 years was a black gentleman who I happened to meet in line waiting for a package. Making friends outside your race is a big no no in prison here...another thing encouraged by the system itself.
It turned out he was a rock & roll addict who knew a lot that I didn't. He described Buckethead to me. When I got out I remembered and sonof*gun...there's this guy with a long wig, a noh mask and a KFC bucket hat shredding like no one's business.
Because his face wasn't know, people tried to guess by his style and his hands who he was.
Paul Gilbert, they hazarded...
Nope! This
is Paul Gilbert, however, and Billy Sheehan on bass.

I dunno...a KFC bucket looks sorta like a big fez...just hang a lamp tassel and there you go!
He's been around many more years than his Guns n' Roses gig.
His parents died in 2013 and 2014 and he took it very hard. He's still busy but he's having some health problems...and as you might suspect, some emotional/psychological problems.

Probably all them problums you mentioned come with logging in to operation auto control and still somehow keep it together, if I was him I'd retire.
I always used to feel offended when people would reference Guns and Roses as the Gunners how dumb, was nothing like that just goes to show how far misconceptions can travel.
Thanks for the lowdown. Have a good day.

I'm starting to count on your ability to expand my horizons re: music appreciation. No idea why I'd never heard of this guy. Once again, nice job!
