Ted Cruz: U.S. Colleges Are Raising a “Generation of Pansies”

Senator Ted Cruz addressed far-left indoctrination occurring at colleges and universities during a recent Young America’s Foundation National Conservative Student Conference. Speaking to the crowd of students, the 2016 p**********l candidate said American “colleges and universities are trying really hard to raise a generation of pansies.”

Cruz argued that places of higher learning shield students from “ideas that are scary” with preposterous “safe spaces.” The Senator maintained that young adults should instead be taught to tackle and engage with these types of ideas. Cruz remarked, “if you are a university administrator, the ideas that are represented in this room are terrifying.” Driving home his point, Cruz said, “there are no safe spaces in this room.”

While speaking to the students, the 2016 p**********l candidate challenged them to “defend liberty” because it both “works” and is “powerful.” He claimed Democrats have gone “stark-raving nuts” in their defense of socialism, which Cruz touted as having proven to be a “manifest disaster.” TheBlaze reported that the Senator “challenged Hollywood l*****ts to put their money where their mouths are and hop inside inflatable rafts at the southern tip of Florida and head toward the ‘socialist utopia that is c*******t Cuba’ if they h**e capitalism so much.”

Cruz admonished the left for being “so darned angry” and devoid of a sense of humor. He advised conservative students to avoid liberals’ fallacies and to attempt to “have fun” in spite of the nation’s current political struggles. When Cruz concluded his speech, he answered questions from the audience. One student relayed the outrageous political correctness that has taken over debate competitions on college and university campuses. The student shared that debate participants are forced to write their g****r pronouns on a board. This individual also revealed that those who debate must “trigger warn” before unleashing any “edgy” content. Debaters can also get “equity called” for offensive statements. Allegedly, debate “g****r minority” tournaments are also a thing. These matches exclude males.

In response, Cruz sarcastically stated, “We’re all gonna die.”

“One of the saddest things we’re seeing is our colleges and universities are trying really hard to raise a generation of pansies,” Cruz said. “What is this sense that you have a right not to be offended? You have a right not to hear ideas that are scary? Look, the entire purpose of university is to hear ideas that are scary.”

The audience in the room reportedly responded with loud applause and cheering. The Senator divulged that when he attended college and law school, he was “surrounded by l*****ts” and enrolled in courses taught by “Marxists.”

“I would deliberately sign up to take classes from Marxists. Now, my family has been tortured by c*******ts in Cuba. It’s personal to me, but you know what? T***h is not afraid of lies. The light is not afraid of darkness. It is good for you to confront ideas that scare you,” the Texas senator added.

Where controversial ideas are concerned, Cruz didn’t promulgate running from them, creating safe spaces for them, or college officials prohibiting them. Rather, the Senator said to “ridicule the living crap out of” them. The 2016 p**********l candidate urged students to utilize this same method against “r****t, bigoted morons” like N**is and the Ku Klux Klan.

Surprisingly, even some on the left feel the ridiculousness occurring on college and university campuses around the country is going too far. According to TheBlaze, liberal activist and former p**********l candidate Ralph Nader has labeled trigger warnings “absurd.” Reportedly, Nader has noted that the male students on college and university campuses today are “far too sensitive because they’ve never been in a draft. They’ve never had a sergeant say, ‘Hit the ground and do 50 push-ups, and I don’t care if there’s mud there.’”

and this all goes back to the idea of participation awards
as a younger man I coached both Peewee football and little league baseball
boys (Sadly girls weren't included then)who wanted to play attended tryouts
each coach had so many picks for his team
if the boy was selected for a team,he got to play
no parent had to pay a dime
teams were suited out with uniforms and baseballs and bats. And in the case of football uniforms and pads were donated by area businesses
now you're gonna say what about the boys who weren't selected
they were of course disappointed, but if they really had the desire they practiced and worked hard to be selected in the next draft
it's my belief this made boys of that time more ready to face the trials and tribulations of adult life
now they are given participation awards, just because their parents had paid for them to be on a team
this in my opinion doesn't make men--it makes sissies

Having been born and raised in Texas, I was a die-hard Ted Cruz supporter in the 2016 and thought Trump wasn't a serious candidate. Especially after Trump called him 'Lying Ted' and insulted his wife. I reluctantly v**ed for him because the alternative was unthinkable. But I've since been made into staunch Trump supported because of his record.
Cruz is a reliable constitutional conservative. He's dead right about college campuses today. Those little snowflakes get triggered by micro-aggression, need their safe spaces, and coloring books solely on hearing what's guaranteed by the First Amendment. Except the snowflakes call it h**e speech.
Members of the greatest generation should be recruited to teach these wussies what it was like to be in a real fight for survival against the N**i war machine. Where they constantly lived on the edge. Today, if you're not living on the edge, you're taking too much room.

Hum... I think you are a sissy and spineless because you hide behind a computer screen and attack people who don't think as you do. If you spewed your bile face to face you would have a nose that had been broken more than once and cauliflower ears. If you resemble your avatar you're definitely hard to look at. Your words and opinions are ugly for sure and are revealed through your potty mouth. Other than that you're a fine person. Free speech is a wonderful thing for both sides, not just the left.

We have always known that politics is a nasty game. Trump and Cruz are both grown men who now seem to be friends or at least working together for now. If they were sissies they wouldn't get anything accomplished. Neither went to a safe space and cried. If they are good or have made peace why does it bother you? Are you the new divider in chief? Are you against peace and harmony? Stop playing in the sewer all the time and give us all a break.

Trump and Cruz both wanted to lead the nation and MAGA. Trump didn't think Cruz was tuff enough to get the job done. So he hit Cruz in his heart and attacked the two people he loved the most. Cruz folded and T***p w*n. Cruz couldn't let his family be attacked and Trump was willing to let his family be attacked. To fix America that's what it would take.

You just need to get used to losing for a while Kev, maybe it'll toughen you up and improve your character. I won't be holding my breath.

And we have a draft-dodging pans in the White House
