There needs to be a flashing red warning during any Opinion presentation,
during what is supposed to be NEWS.

Today I can only dream of seeing unbiased facts, untainted by personal opinions.

It truly disgusts me that the msm thinks that they need to tell me what I should think!

The sad thing is many take its opinions as facts, and that is all they know. Thus results of polls become what people think is true rather than what is actually true.

That's true, and they will soon be popping in.

You are so right. I have always wondered why after any important speech, the press, feels the need to spend time telling us what we just heard. Exactly what part of the speech did the newsperson hear that I didn't hear. Are we all children and require some savant politically driven commentator to explain what I should believe I heard? Just give me the news, speech, etc, straight and let ME determine how to interpret it. That was the way it used to be. Everything now is opinion and I have to search for the real news. The MSM is 100% in the pocket of the left so you cannot believe anything you hear them and their so called news broadcasts.

I switch to their mid 20th century re-runs, far better than anything that they make today.

Gunsmoke was almost like religion to my dad, we got our first TV when it became a show.

Come hell or high water, the milking was done before 7pm on Monday night.

Wagon Train was mom's favorite in those days, so those were what we watched.

By the way spellcheck doesn't even recognize Gunsmoke.

Andy Rooney used to have a spot that was clearly marked as an opinion piece, delivered AFTER the news. Nowadays, the opinion comes first, followed by cherry picked "news" that supports the opinion.

There is also a new problem along these lines; following the MSM's earned skepticism, what used to be called "fringe journalism" has become many peoples goto source, which are now just as bad as the MSM for presenting opinion and theory as fact.

Don't leave out the internet and blogging. Any moron can now be a journalist. You should become one.

None of it is any worse than the cheap sleazy tabloids in the checkout lanes.

A wise person will always consider the source.

Call it NewsFlix.

Try watching Christine Amanpour she performs the same act over and over. She covets the spotlight and puts herself on camera way more than necessary..
I didn't think anyone could be worse than Charlie Rose.. Amanpour enlists interview subjects to go on her show and then puts on a vanity self serving tableau to herself no matter what.
She interviews other people on screen and shoots it behind a body shot of herself gesturing emphatically..

Shes the focus no matter how treacly or slavishly left meaning her guest.
Ick.
