In a socialist society, everything is combined into one pot. Everyone works for the common good. Technically all resources are equally owned and equally distributed as are all the riches. It is based on trust that these tenets will be adhered to and carried out by all. Someone has to run the social programs and who would that be? Yes the government. All members of the government are completely moral and execute the socialist program honest and fairly. It’s a win win situation.
What happens when someone doesn’t adhere to the basic tenets of socialism. Someone decides to sluff off, but still wants his fair share. A government official responsible for the distribution of the bounty gets greedy and skims more than his fair share off the top. A few people decide to c***t, lie, s**m the system. It’s a win win for those in control and a lose lose for those not in control
In such a situation the winners like winning and as the amass greater wealth they exert greater control over the losers. Socialism soon morphs into c*******m. Bring in a bunch of Muslims and c*******m eventually morphs into Shariaism.
There is no such thing as Democratic Socialism when you have the opportunity for corruption and collusion. Even a republic with its checks and balances is problematic when the political parties are so polarized, but it still a whole lot better than socialism. When a political party in a republic is so set on being in power, using their government position for financial benefit, ignoring the fact they were chosen by the American v**er to represent their needs, choose to weaponize the agencies that are designed to protect the defend and protect the rights of the American People, the republic collapses and we take a giant leap towards becoming a c*******t society.
