The fact that you call them conservative judges implies a partisan bias, what would you have called Garland?

Garland was a centrist judge with a slight right conservative lean, he was a republican, but he was the kind of judge the supreme court needs to be made up of, he follows the law and constitutional precedent. A dem senate will force judges to be picked that are centrist, neither side will be "happy" with them because they will not go along with either side unless a side wants the law adhered to.

The democrats don’t have the integrity to pick centrist judges. What a joke. They want control of the supreme court.

Hopefully, Moscow Mitch will be gone, and the nomination process can be done the right way.

But really, you need to take a good look at the Trump appointed judges. They have v**ed along with the lib group that mostly v**es as a block, on many occasions. Not as pure right wing judges. That is the difference.

The problem is that the left seems to pick judges that v**e or rule, on making law on cases before them, because they feel that is how it should be and their democrat sponsors want it that way. The republican nominated judges were more often picked for their potential to v**e according to the dictates of the Constitution, precedent and the rule of law.

If you want laws changed, they need to be changed in Congress, not some California liberal judges court room.

Socialist-democrats want to make the SC Justice more than 10. Right now they are desperate that once president Trump gets the 8 year at the WH, he could nominate another conservative Justice replacing the aging Ginsburg. That is why socialist-democrats have been trying to harass Justice Kavanaugh, just like how they harass and assault president Trump. They don't want Constitutional Republic that our country was created. They want c*******m. Itching for power for life to corrupt the system get rich by stealing the money of the people who earned it.
These bastards are all crooks.

Expecting either party to fix the SC is like expecting our politicians-any of them-to participate in draining the swamp ALL of them had accepted (and were enjoying) before Trump arrived and vociferously proceeded..as promised..to actually start the drain..which every single one of them know's, will be the absolute end of doing wh**ever they want (with no real fear of accountability). This problem is way past ideology now-liberalism (and it's 'end justifies the means' mindset) might have initially introduced the art of the double-talk which they have made a legitimate and accepted practice throughout the Washington bureaucracy (as well as our local state and municipal politics).. but the conservative politicians have definitely proven to be fast learners as well. It's d********g..and we have to quit acting as if only one side or the other needs to be fixed to get us back on track.

Another issue seriously complicating all efforts to identify and remedy our political mess, which goes hand-in-hand with fixing this (same mess), is that all our important and vital govt agencies have been polluted-thru appointments-by BOTH sides as well. Most are not experts in wh**ever field their appointment puts them-it's some kind of payback or reward for someone who is expected to remain loyal to the appointer and not the position. Whenever questioned about this, we hear the same grandstanding from them every time..'whoever' is of the highest moral, ethical, and/or intellectual standards imaginable. Sadly, if the media took even a cursory look at most of them's past, it's probably strewn with failure if not outright corruption (think of Jim Comey here). Exposure of this will play out badly for both sides, so self-interests (on both sides) is going to end up protecting the whole collective lot of them (thru continuous inaction and obfuscation).

Now comes the big 'kicker'-all of this is being misrepresented grossly and enthusiastically by the biggest enablers of this cesspool mismanagement-our d********g media that obviously thinks it's also much smarter than all of us dumbass 'mere mortals'. The sad part is the total number of people engaging in and perpetuating our problems might represent a (clear) majority of those engaged in politics today, but they aren't even a 'blip on the radar' when compared to the number of the 'mere mortals' finally realizing how bad they've been fooled and manipulated-not from just one side-but by the whole system. So long as they keep us 'mere mortals' split ideologically, and at each others throats, it will keep everyone from realizing they-the politicians-all suck. These bullies have the means..and more importantly the obvious motivation..to rapidly intimidate and 'flashmob' anyone who tries to stand up and disagree. Anyone who isn't starting to realize this hasn't been paying adequate attention. The old saying "fool me once, shame on you..but fool me twice, shame on me' is trying to play out here..but the 'masters of deception' are desperately pulling out all the stops, trying to avoid being exposed..at least until they can eliminate the pesky 2nd amendment, and our ultimate ability to object/reject their (obvious) malfeasance...

I h**e painting this gloomy picture, but I wholeheartedly believe that is where we were, and possibly still are, headed... If we hadn't elected Trump, we might have already been past that 'point of no return' b/c our egotistical snakes have drank so much of their own snake oil they already feel that noone and nothing can stop them. Trump's win defied this..and they are upset. If hillary had won..as was predicted and expected..that self worshipping moralless witch would have immediately started eliminating any and all obstacles that stand in her way of selling us (deplorables), and our country, down the river. Every politician in Wash would have let her. We are fighting an enemy that follows no rules and honors no agreements whatsoever, which makes it pretty much unbeatable following our own traditional rules of engagement and fair play, which both sides have theoretically agreed to respect. Our problem is not one side or the other-it's the collective bunch of them-and regardless of if you like him or not, we can thank DJT for making this very hard to ignore...

Bravo!

Trump, despite all the rhetoric, is more in keeping with the intent of the founders: a non-politician elected to serve a term or two, then return to the private sector.

As long as we don't have term limits in place, eliminating career prostitutes politicians from the equation, little will change.

Trump has been amazing hasn't he Seth??? To those who aren't riding the establishment h**er train he's shown a very good understanding of our constitution as well as our founders true intents, and all of his 'suggestions' do align with (obvious) conservative principles-much more so than most of the trump hating rhino's currently masquerading as conservatives along with every single one of the hysterical 'America sucks' dimocrat politicians..inotherwords most of Wash..who our liberal media habitually rushes to for commentary.

Your prostitute politician thing made me laugh..and then ponder if we could actually figure out which truly was the 'older' or 'oldest' profession. Then I realized 'what difference could it possibly make' b/c at this time they both serve the same purpose-screw their customers...lol

"Screw their customers" is right! I saw, someplace or other, a list of the total taxes charged in the U.S. a century ago compared to the sheer numbers of taxes we pay on practically everything today, and thought how "interesting" it is that all we seem to get for all those additional taxes is more government and more negative impact as a result, and the older America becomes, the more the will of our founders becomes a distant memory to our ever-expanding government as it slowly but surely strips the Tenth Amendment of its intended purpose.

The Dept. of Education and Obamacare are two prime examples, the entire Roe vs Wade debacle was another.

Trump is the first president to come along in decades, if not a couple of centuries, who simply isn't a politician. He's giving we, the people the same loyalty and same hard day's work he would expect of one of his own managers, and it's totally refreshing.

If the Democrats had any respect for the Constitution, the middle class and indeed the American way of life, they would quit their abusive "r****t" rhetoric and their obstructive, pure politics oriented dumb s**t and work with him.

Unfortunately, the far left and g*******t factions that pour money into Democrat campaigns these days have other plans, and the Democratic Party have to sing for their supper.

Telling the supreme court to watch their step in terms of paying attention to the law is a fair call, yes they can be impeached by the senate.

The SCOTUS has come up with some seriously partisan rulings as a rule, and is expected to continue to do so

Except that to a leftie, "partisan" means abiding by the Constitution or enforcing any on-the-books law that is inconvenient for a lefty agenda.

Few seen Chucky Schumer say "The Constitution is STOPPING us from doing what we want to do"!

This is the mindset of the entire Democrat Party. Given free rein, they would shred the Constitution without blinking.

That's because the Constitution is the antithesis of everything they believe in and the single major obstacle to their "fundamentally t***sforming America."
