Amos chapter 7

Verse 1 - 9

God shows Amos three visions; grasshoppers, fire, and a plumbline. Amos talks God out of the first two. If we consider ourselves a Christian nation, there is a line we should not cross. Abortion and same sex marriage should not be legal and should be reproved. They were approved by the supreme court. The purpose of the courts are not to make law, but to enforce law. America will not survive by killing its children and electing foreigners to govern us and allowing illegals to vote in our elections.

Verse 10 - 13

Even though everything he said came true, the church and the government disliked Amos words. The government has limitations, Some want to arrest you for punishing your child, they will arrest your child if you don’t.

Verse 14 and 15

The priest wants Amos ro go away. Amos informs that he was not a priest nor the son of a priest. God sent him to Israel.

Verse 16 and 17

Israel would be taken about 200 years before Judah.
