Isaiah chapter 64

Verse 1 - 3

God’s time is not our time. God doesn’t die. A day with God is like a thousand years to man. With that ratio in mind, ten years to man is less than 15 minutes to God. God is in control. When He comes back,He will do just what He said He would do. He uses whom He chooses. None of us understand every scripture.

Verse 4

This idea is repeated in 1 Corinthians 2:9.

Verse 5

Worship without obedience will accomplish nothing. If you din;t obey, you don’t deserve to worship. To obey is better than sacrifice.

Verse 6 and 7

We are all sinners. Read Romans 3:23 and 1 John 1:8 - 10.

Verse 8 and 9

God made us and not we ourselves. God also built this universe.

Verse 10 - 12

God is in control. He has every right to tell you how to live the life He gave you.
