A controversial movie about privileged vacationers hunting "deplorables" for sport is ruffling feathers more than a month before its scheduled release and after tragic mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.

"The Hunt" is billed as a satire that follows wealthy thrill-seekers taking a private jet to a five-star resort where they embark on a "deeply rewarding" expedition that involves hunting down and k*****g designated humans. The Hollywood Reporter reported on Tuesday that "Universal is re-evaluating its strategy for the certain-to-be-controversial satire" following the shootings after ESPN reportedly pulled a trailer for the film that had been previously cleared to air on the sports network.

"The violent, R-rated film from producer Jason Blum's Blumhouse follows a dozen MAGA types who wake up in a clearing and realize they are being stalked for sport by elite liberals," THR's Kim Masters wrote. "It features guns blazing along with other ultra-violent k*****gs as the elites pick off their prey."

According to the Hollywood trade publication, characters in the film refer to the victims as "deplorables," which is what Hillary Clinton famously dubbed Trump supporters during the 2016 e******n. The report noted that a character asks, "Did anyone see what our ratf--ker-in-chief just did?"

"At least The Hunt's coming up. Nothing better than going out to the Manor and slaughtering a dozen deplorables," a character responds, according to THR.

If you listen to some of the richest people in this country, they will say why are they giving us tax cuts.No body listens. They say i mean the ones that have made their billions half way honest, that they dont need it.And the ones that are half way honest will tell you that trouble is country because of the big gap in wealth, which one party wants to keep up because they think they are superior.

Exactly!... Hence the Hypocrisy!.. Totally flabbergasted.. Dems act like owning a gun is a priviledge provided by the Gov't.. NO.. it's NOT... it's a Right to defend one's self...and shall Not be Infringed!..regardless...I don't care if the assclown is comin at me with a knife or a gun, in my home.. he's gonna get shot & due to the rising cost of ammunition I can no longer provide a warning shot..

It's also for "A well trained m*****a" "The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"

Some of the things President Trump is talking about though, are kinda scary.. especially the mental evals.. while it's a good idea on the one hand.. it's a VERY bad idea on the other... Because it's a foot in the door for Any politician to make that a blanket statement, giving politicians the ability to cast a wide blanket definition of the words Mentally Ill... I read something else in here a few days back regarding facebook and thought to text tech.. sounds so sci fi!!... I know scientists have been working to that end for people that can't talk.. or type for that matter... all designed to survail us, our every waking thought.. feeling.. could someday be open to anyone.. thought police!...I'm not sayin that's happening now.. and I believe President Trump is sincere.. I'm just not real happy with the concept of our converstations being monitored & construed as "w***e s*******y" or "h**e speak" .. I do believe they do that already..I guess it would be naive to think otherwise .. Long before I found this site.. I posted politics in facebook..and oddly never wound up in facebook jail.. so I stopped posting there while I was still ahead.. just posted cute Non controversial stuff.. puppies kittens animal antics... Then I found OPP... But.. is what we post in here ultimately going to be monitored as well.. ?

The left accuses us ALL of being r****t and white supremists.. however I find it very bad that the Left doesn't call out Their side of the extremist dirty laundry, A****A and B*M.. Now we have this silly movie.. That would incite the Left & Right to violence I'd think

Yes... it is for sure to a degree, But most of us know the difference between a game, movie, internet from reality..I do have to wonder though, what the hell is wrong with the Parents of these kids that go out and do this kind of crap...shooting up a mall bc it looked like fun in some lame game!

Yes there are real things going on on the net... but don't believe all ya read there either.. due dilligence, always.. Games & movies are Make believe.. There are quite a few tv shows and movies that I believe are trying to de-sensitize the population to the eventuality that aliens will come here...or any other thing can be possible.. Star Trek did that for diversities sake, showing us people were people regardless of nationality or aliens that we all don't look alike.. that each of us is unique in our way.. which was released Sept 8. 1966.. gotta wonder at the timing of this...what was goin on in the USA?.. A LOT was goin on in the USA... desegregation, racial diversity.. etc

It sounds like an inane waste of time and money but it should be of interest to the Progressives. Hopefully the theaters are dark so as the audience plays with itself and each other it won't be too obvious.

I think we are rapidly approaching a "breaking point”! Just when you think the l*****t insanity has reached a peak, something like this comes along. GOD help us!

Kathy Griffin claims she can’t get work following her photoshoot with a decapitated and bloody Trump head, but don’t let that fool you. Hollywood clearly still finds the idea of promoting violence against people who aren’t good and obedient l*****ts, because Universal Pictures is set to release ...

I could write a script for "The Hunt" that would have a very happy ending.
