I lived in Deepwater area of Pasadena...went to Sam Rayburn High School. Deepwater is just a stone's throw from Deer Park, which used to be called Shell City. That is because of the Shell Oil Refinery just off Hwy 225. I even bicycled from our home to The San Jacinto Monument & Battle Ship Texas before expansion and the traffic that came with it.
