Yesterday (Thursday 8/1), a federal judge blocked New York state from turning over Trump’s tax returns to Congress. "The court order will block any House Ways and Means Committee requests for the tax returns via New York law until a jurisdictional dispute is resolved".

This is not an 'open and shut' ruling, but the end result remains, no more Democrat overreach in trying to open the book on Trump's tax returns.

"The ruling came after the Trump administration filed a lawsuit on July 23 arguing New York violated the president’s constitutional rights when it passed a law earlier in July that gave the Democratic-controlled House Ways and Means Committee access to the president’s state tax returns.
Nichols said during a D.C. court hearing that “Mr. Trump cannot suffer any harm” until the issue is resolved, the Washington Examiner reported."

I think it's hilarious. They just refuse to put it down, and they keep getting their little asses smacked every time.

I would love to see Pelosi and her cohorts offer Trump a deal. They will publicize their tax returns if Trump will do the same. I wonder how that will play out.

Exactly! Congressmen should be required to release their tax returns from the time they were first elected through their entire careers in Congress. The public should have the right to know exactly how these career politicians … who "serve" for decades … go into these positions making a modest income and somehow amass the fortunes that most of them appear to do during their time in Congress … given that Congressional salaries alone do not account for it.

Are they serving the public … or are they serving themselves???? Inquiring minds want to know.

He'd find yet another way to make them look dumb. I guarantee it. All they have to do is be reasonable, but no, they just don't know how.
