I wouldn't be too quick to classify the NRA as failing. I know the liberal media would like everyone to believe that the NRA is having a tough time but the constant pushing by anti-gun groups is solidifying the resolve of millions of members by highlighting the need for protecting the 2d amendment. I just sent in my membership along with a contribution.

Are you so dense that you believe anything going on at the NRA will result in fewer v**es for the Presidents ree******n?

Do you also "feel" that if "only black l***s m****r" were squabbling, that too, would result in fewer v**es for Proggies?

I tossed my NRA card when they took money from Russia and gave it to trump, and I'm plenty capable of defending my gun rights myself. And as we stack the body's of those who try to take them, they will stop!

NRA membership is higher than ever. In 2012, NRA membership was 4,500,000. In 2014 it had dropped to 4,000,000. Now it is about 5,000,000. The more anti-gun rhetoric there is in the news, the more people buy guns and the more people join NRA. Until now, the highest membership numbers were in 2002 and 2012 with 4,500,000. All other years were lower until 2015. It has been increasing every year since.

What did the the nra do about when they went door to door taking guns during Katrina nothing! And we say they will take them from our cold dead hands and not one of those people fired a shot. That has told them any time they want they can do it.
I hope I can stack them up like firewood on my porch!

NRA membership goes up and down like a yoyo, and has ever since I first became a member in the seventies. I don't renew my membership every year. Besides it's normal 4-5 million members, the NRA influences most of the 80-100 million gun owners in this country. The NRA does not contribute large amounts of money to politicians. It simply records their positions on gun control and publishes them.

I think they could have done better. I was hoping for at least 100 millions. I guess I'll have to increase my contribution.
