NBC gives Democrats free campaign content

Seth Meyers' recent Closer Look segment was a free critique of Trump's rally speeches.

one problem: Seth Meyers is not a journalist but a comedian. A team of 18 or more writers ( plus ghost contributors) write that material. His sanguine delivery doesn't mask the complexity And seriousness of issues.

Now Seth Meyers is a geopolitical government expert capable of determining net efficacy of the actions of the President of the United States ?

Seth Meyer did not get 46 million v**es to govern this country. Maybe he should shut up.

the FCC can monitor t***smissions for t***h and decency but labeling it comedy and satire (when Democrats are slinging mud) is an evasive way tp make on air public mud slinging OK.

But if someone publishes a satirical cartoon online against Nancy Pelosi Congress comes to a grinding screeching halt. Civility is a word Democrats only recognise when used by themselves.

Meyer's glib packagaging of current political issues operates from a pure partisan perspective. That renders his segment infotainment, not comedy.

I.E.; campaign advertising. NBC as a branch of MSNBC here is providing the Democrats free of charge broadcast advertising.

how Democrats filter Trump through a slag pile of inauthentic and skewed statements performs as if Meyers is both the researcher of his material and its author.

Mocking Hannity makes no sense. And the material isn't funny so it isn't comedy.

NBC should be taxed for broadcasting free material and contributing anti Trump campaign advertising.
This would necessitate the notice
" this was approved by Democrats against Trump".

Because nattering.on about Iran drones and foreign policy is not the stuff of late night comedy.

Meyers' glib reading may sound smooth but this same scythe of mockery is never applied to Omar's marital fraud or AOC hijacking our Congress for her dart throwing competition.

Unless you are an unemployable comedic actor who works as a Teleprompter reader mouthing anything the hacks in the dungeon trowel out, this is not material suitable for the broad audience for late night shows.

So its campaign filler.

Packaging this as entertainment is foul. It's campaign rhetoric and slander. At least John Oliver is clever and authors his own material.

Mocking Eric Trump's beard? Does that mean if we come up with clever ways to mock Kamila Harris and Elizabeth Warren or that Spanish Dude or Bernie its ok?

Mocking our President to mollify donors/advertisers is a budget line item. Because Democrat panic against the next e******n is good business it makes for heavy media spends and massive advertising buys.

Those statements aren't comedy. They are disgraceful swipes at our President because Meyers doesn't have actually funny material.

And it makes me more determined to support Trump 2.0

Civility goes both ways, cheap-shot nbc!
