Being a "r****t" is the most overused expression when it comes to politics. It has lost any bite to its meaning. Everyone is being called a 'r****t' likes its some big insult. Who cares?? Pelosi was called a r****t, Biden was called a r****t, and of course, Trump was called the same. You almost feel 'slighted' if you're NOT. What about me? It's turning out to be a 'political compliment'. Bottom line, it's overdone. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/07/an_angry_old_white_guy_on_aoc_plus_three.html

Your point is well taken.

Former Judge Andrew Napolitano wrote an opinion piece called "The Limits of Free Speech" that has a bearing on this topic: https://www.lewrockwell.com/2019/07/andrew-p-napolitano/the-limits-of-free-speech/

I personally would not label Trump's comment on "the squad" as r****t. "Provocative", "un-constructive", and "non-p**********l" would be a more appropriate term in my mind. I get what he is trying to say, but as president, is it his role to say it, or is he adding fuel to the fire of dissension within our country? Wouldn't it be more constructive to lead by example, and better filter his "Twitter" habits to important constructive topics worthy of his presidency?

Having said that, T Jefferson's comment that words “neither pick my pocket nor break my leg” is well considered advice.

How about toning down the rhetoric, and make like a duck and take perceived negative comments and let them roll off your back?

Trump is not going to take a "smidgeon" of crap from these four morons (they are freshman Congresswomen who should take the ole' saying "seen and not heard (from) for a year of two) to heart. On the other hand, they're giving Pelosi fits, and Pelosi is so intimated by these four it keeps her on her toes. AOC is a genuine pathological liar who pretty soon will not have an ounce of cred. She loves saying outrageous things which gets her 15 minutes of fame and she eats it up. She's the greatest thing that ever happened to the (R's) because the American e*****rate are smart enough to see thru her C*******tic BS. 'The Mooch' says tone down the rhetoric, but it's just not Trump's personality. Let him be who he is. 'Promises made, promises kept. What you see is what you get, period!!!!! Refreshing!!!

What an EXCELLENT and articulate piece! And it's a good counterpoint to a piece I read yesterday about a black female professor from Yale who travels all over the world speaking about "white privilege ". She sounded like a paranoid loon. This guy sounds like someone I'd like to sit down and talk to

You know, tho, that President Trump is using social media to open up conversations. Just like he changed the ENTIRE political narrative in 2016 to talk about things that Americans were concerned with , but other politicians wouldn't have touched with a 10 foot pole. Which is why he was elected.
Tho I do agree that sometimes he goes a little bit too far

He has such a deep "love of country" that when L*****ts offended this country, he takes it personal. And you know he's not going to hold back. What a great speech last night. One of his best ~ spot on. I watch every one of his speeches. They are informative, on point, and entertaining as Hell. "If they don't like this country, let them leave." what is wrong with that??? We heard what a third world country we were for 8 years. I think the American e*****rate are tired of what a second-rate country we are long enough. this guy really loves this country and he proves it with all the great things he has done to put us BACK ON TRACK. BTW, the Left during the debate shot themselves in the foot raising their hands all for "open borders". Ask the people of San Fernando valley (LA). MS-13 members 19 i*****l a***ns arrested for 7 horrific murders. Yeah, the open borders policy is just what we want. Bottom line ~ things could NOT be going any better for the most part.
