So, according to the bible, the birth of earth and mankind via adam is about 3500 to 4500 years old, and despite the facts that science proves that earth is millions of years old, the bible story remains the basis for faith.
Now, facts are proving that the bible story is wrong. A new settlement in Israel has be discovered that is in the range of at least 9000 years old, with 3000 to 4000 inhabitants.
One of them would likely be the first humans in the area.
And reals facts trump alternative facts every time

Matter of fact this is not a Bible story. It was concocted by some priest in the 1700s, using Biblical geneologies.
There have been all sorts of settlements discovered that are even older than that. The City of Jericho is at least 8000 years old. Neolithic settlements pre-dating it have been discovered frequently.
If you are going to try to stir up crap, at least come up with something interesting, not something that has been argued to death.

Factnotfiction...no the Bible doesn't claim the earth is 3500 to 4500 years old. Biblical scholars have calculated the generations of the Bible. Thus, its a human calculation, not God's.

All I know is the chance of a book written 2,000 to 3,000 years ago to predict future events and never getting it wrong is impossible unless someone knew the future. A lot of people would have lived a lot longer life if we paid attention to it's words. It talks of things we didn't know until the last 100 years. The blood circulates, washing before tending for wounded. It tells of the effects of an atomic blast we know nothing about in 1940. The history of the Jews. It tells of Israel's army conquest against all odds. There can only be one answer to your hit you try to fabricate on the Bible you have never read it or opened it.

There is nothing inconsistent between science and the Bible. Where error occurs, is when humans insist that everything revolves around them..............................indeed.......................the original sin writ large.
