Until someone breathes their last breath there is a chance. I do think like you when I'm really angry, but it doesn't last long, usually when I bless my next meal I repent. There is a difference between mocking and making fun of somebody and being so angry at criticism that you feel justified in inviting somebody to leave the house, even when you don’t own the house. That seems a short step to forcibly removing those with whom you disagree, an idea as absurd that Trump should be invited to “go back” to Germany even though he was born in America, just like 3 of the 4 targets of his corrosive anger.
