Exactly right. The left will crow for a news-cycle or 2 about President Trump hiring this person, but his retirement will shorten the time the story will be useful to them. The whitewashing that wikipedia and other sites are doing removing Dem links to Epstein has gone into overdrive, and there are questionable people involved in the early phases of this situation. And, of course, most of the #metoo movement is strangely silent. We need to, as the President would say, "see what happens". My hope is that the process will not redefine the 2-tiered justice system that we all know exists in this great country. I'd like the victims to receive some measure of retribution and closure. I think the best place for Epstein until his trial is protective custody in a solitary confinement situation (NOT his $77 million mansion) and I think genpop is the best place for him to serve his sentence. Those folks know how to treat p*******es properly.

Trump knew the sleezebag. Like Trump knew people in organized crime. You don't have the kind of footprint the President had in NY and FL without rubbing elbows with a few bottom-feeders. I've heard that they weren't buddies. But just like your earth shattering Russian collusion investigation and results - Bring it and we'll see. Let's not try to cover up the fact that social media worker bees are removing Epstein/Clinton references. It's a thing.

I think that he made the right decision being that he was somehow connected to the whole Epstein trial situation on the first trial.

I don't. There are and were too many high ranking people involved including this was under HC senate run. He at least got something where the other prosecutors didn't. I think it's a mistake and he and the President should have gone to the mattress over this. Whether he stays or he goes the s**t is going to hit the fan with the media and the schumers and madam p. Mike

Successful, financially, yes, but I wouldn't call him great.
