There is no way woodguru is moving to the side of reason. He is mistaking his targets. He forgot that it was Obama who promised the most t***sparent administration in history. He is consistent though with his facts. He's always riddled with errors.

There are ways to protect the water from the garbage that farmers spray on their fields. Better than then to poison the water. Some like to drink the water, fish live in the water.

Keeping insecticide out of drinking water is a good thing, but trying to control troublesome miner ditches and erosion on private farms and ranches is too much

Typical of government overreach, a common occurrence when government obtains unchecked power. Proponents of government involvement always point to the intentions and forget the negative results.

The EPA and other agencies seem to think they can do wh**ever they want in complete secrecy

"At a time when c*****e c****e threatens our communities"... That's right, there has to be some 'threat', otherwise the whole argument is silly. Newsflash: It's still silly.

The EPA and the Department of Education or the two agencies that I would absolutely abolish from the American government they do absolutely no service to the American people for one the department of indoctrination I mean education is doing everything they can to turn all of our children into bleeding heart liberals but not the good type they're trying to turn our kids into a****a is what they're trying to do I think what we should do is we should take our kids out of public school and homeschool our children and then see what the government has to say about that if we all take our kids out of government ran School yeah you notice how I said government ran cuz it is government ran ever since the Department of Education was designed back in the 80s the government has been involved in your children's education in other words the liberal Academia has a chance to brainwash your child which they have been doing especially with the millennial generation they've been doing it ever since kindergarten and they're still doing it if your child is going to college plus the Department of Education believes they can raise your kids better than you can and if you speak out against them they will have DFCS called on you like they've done many other states where people have criticized board members and stuff like that so I say we abolish the Department of Education and EPA because they serve no purpose for the government

Do you understand that you schools curriculum is set locally..

If you have any problem, go to a school board meeting or see the school administration..

voice your concerns, be emphatic.. it works you can and should change things if your think they are wrong.

The input from federal/state etc are recommendations only, not rules...

And the schools have no wish at all to raise you kids..

Frosty, what do you know about school? Many courses are mandated by state and federal authorities.

I think we are looking at different conditions..

Yes, the things kids need to graduate are set by state even federal levels.. these can change as they did back in the day when USSR put a satellite in orbit.. then we all had to have algebra etc..

but talking about electives as we seemed to be, those are local.

As when "no child left behind" and then..... darn what was the name of the latest program that was so h**ed?? What a day I am having.. sorry..

this last program that got so much attention was from guidelines..

Minnesota was one of only a few states which did not accept the program..

But withing the guidelines, the actual curriculum was set locally..

Should be state and locally regulated. Feds should stay out except for navagatible waterways.

So then you see the problems the Hudson bay is having, neighboring states dump the garbage in the water that runs downstream and pollutes and costs that state for the cleanup needed.

The east coast rivers and lakes were cesspools before radical cleanup efforts were enacted.

There is no reason to undo clean water laws, doing so almost insures corporations that don't care will pollute. There isn't a corporation or industry involved with toxic byproducts that can't afford to do things to clean up what they do. The government has been stiffed with hundreds of billions in cleanup left by companies making vast profits and walking away from their messes.

To say that the EPA does nothing displays a degree of ignorance that is deeply profound.

Absoultely right, they do worse than nothing, they actually make life even more difficult, and more expensive, if that was possible.

Yes, reasonable regulation is necessary. I don't want the EPA BUREAUCRATS preventing me from controlling destructive run off water from destroying my pastures or preventing me from watering my cattle in my spring and the little stream that runs through my ranch.
