Yeah, there you go. That 'system' you've been paying into your whole adult life, and it's flat broke. No youth, no social security payments. How's that for a Ponzi scheme?

It's just so ridiculous. The social Security fund is nothing but a pile of Treasury IOUs. It's like moving money from one pocket to the other, spending it, and putting an IOU in your pocket in its place, then counting it as cash. Ron Paul railed about this the whole time he was in Congress. Nobody paid any attention.

Syria and the Mideast, in history making drought for the last 7 years.. longer now, old informatin.

If you farm in the ME and can not grow melons, you have no income, no life, no future..

India hottest day ever recorded the green revolution grains do not stand up to the heat, let alone drought. they die, if the farmers go back to the old strains of grain, they get a crop but not enough to feed the nation and export to market..

If the problem repeats this year it may be reflected in the United States..

I believe that Beto guy must be right in some instances. Central America the problem is coffee and bananas.

Not following much of the Dem boatload yet.. be a while.. GO AMY!!!

Drought in India has resulted in tens of millions of deaths over the course of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Droughts have periodically led to major Indian famines, including the Bengal famine of 1770, in which up to one third of the population in affected areas died; the 1876–1877 famine, in which over five million people died; and the 1899 famine, in which over 4.5 million died. This is nothing new nor is it relate to any made made CO2 emissions. Syrian drought is the worst in 900 years, which means that 900 years ago they had a worse one whihc means it wasn't caused by man's CO2 Emission. As for Pakistan, it's weather is much like India and their history of bad droughts and flash floods goes back hundreds of years, before there even were significant CO2 emissions.

In other words, this is nothing new, it is just being hyped up to bolster the c*****e c****e alarmists "sky is falling" scenario's.

Do you know if that's the highest in the history of Alaska? Records break all the time. It's called weather.

They have what can only be described as a deep freeze winter, then the heat kicks in in May/June and it scorches for a couple of months before the deep freeze again. Of course they're hot, you can only take so much off, but you can always put more on.

I understand the record high for Alaska is 110°F on February 15, 1938, in Seward.

Imagine that, 110°, in February, in Alaska!

"C*****e C****e" is cyclic.. it happens roughly every 50 -100 years.. then goes back to the begining...These temps are within that 100 year range at 81 years... those screaming g****l w*****g really need to reach back a bit in history and find the patterns which are there if one was to look. but I'm finding that when Liberal sets their mind to something they get exceedingly lazy about lookin for facts and that laziness has them falling back on the party line..

Al Gore.. was shouting the loudest but it was found out he had a HUGE "carbon footprint" lmao.. Algore.. the inventor of the internet..To the Liberal regime-"B***h Please!".. laffin..

Yep.. much like the Y2K scare.. a H**x to get ppl to buy new pc's.. I was in school at that time.. voc rehab.. computer school.. and Our last lab of the class was to turn all our clocks back on our pc's...I guess some were expecting smoke to come outta the boxes.. but NOTHING happened it rolled over as it was supposed to.. lol..

the carbon scare was to get us to by "hybrid" cars...

I find it amusing also that alot of this talk went on most likely on their JET to somewhere..

My companion..friend..works at an airport here in Fallon, he's a private pilot and he reaks of jet fuel when he comes home.. God I h**e the smell of that crap in my house and sometimes before he's had a chance to change.. (yes I do make him change clothes before interacting with myself or my dog) my dog likes to lick his jeans. grrr..

Ah, Y2K. Those were the days. I sat there at work one day towards Christmas, 1999 and had a thought, so I set the clock on my work computer to 12/31/1999 and 11:59PM just to see what happened when it rolled over. As expected, nothing happened, it just continued on into Y2K. Yawn.
