President Trump is very smart. Always thinking and planning what is the best strategy to help us and save our money. He is the best.

I think we all hope that this will truly work out well..

When is the signing taking place so we can read more?/

First Lady Melania Trump was briefly hospitalized for a kidney condition last year. The White House has declined to share details of her condition, other than to describe it as “benign.”

Multiple patient advocates, and HHS officials themselves, have said the health system isn’t set up to catch kidney disease early and slow its progression.

“One of the key reasons for our failing policies is that kidney care in particular has some of the worst incentives in American healthcare,” HHS Secretary Azar in March told the National Kidney Foundation’s annual patient summit.

Kidney disease is a significant driver of Medicare spending, and the new initiative comes as the administration and Congress have made lowering health care costs a top priority, seeking an issue that can be touted on the campaign trail. And the Trump administration, under Azar, has a renewed focus on using the CMS Innovation Center to accomplish this goal and attempt to t***sition the health care system to paying for value instead of volume of services.

“In all, the government believes it can make 17,000 more kidneys and 11,000 more hearts, livers, lungs and other organs available for t***splant every year, as well as save money for Medicare and Medicaid, which cover much of the cost of dialysis and t***splantation,” The Washington Post reported.

I will never get tired of winning.

I do approve of the stated idea, help health care while reducing cost..

But the absence of any real information in the release, and the history of right wing Ideas on healthcare leave with a lot of mistrust..

Did the EO actually happen yesterday? can not find anything about it.

Not even on the local Fox station (twin cities local news coverage).

I'm waiting for better healthcare that saves us money...meanwhile congress is passing drug bills that will save us money but McConnell refuses to v**e on them even though they will easily pass.

I would have a new found respect for Trump if he had the brains and leadership sense to tell McConnell to start taking v**es on the bills the house is sending over.

Believing it isn't going to make it happen, and the numbers will tell.

I won't hold my breath, it's hard to do anything about one thing when the healthcare system is dysfunctional

Maybe he has. McConnell is not beholden to the President. He sets his own agenda and can tell the President to 'swivel' if he wants to. A lot of people place way too much onus on the President for things he has no control over. I usually tell them to read this:

Yeah, he don't need any help. The landslide victory is already in the works, just from what he's achieved so far. And there's 4 more years of winning in the works!
