In this article look at the graphs, ignore the years before about 1994, and tell me, does it look like the temp is still going up??

The graphs end in 2010. kinda hard to gauge without current data.

They actually go to 2014. Looking from the mid 1990's to 2014, it looks pretty level to me.

In my opinion I would rather a warmer world than a cold one especially today where we can control our individual environment. Plants and animals grow better in warmth. Personally I like cold over heat but on the whole warm is better overall. Mike

More people die due to cold as well. And we can't make the assumption that dry places will get drier. We are seeing increases in precipitation in more places than there are that have declining precipitation. We could find our selves with 30% more farm-able land.

we are seeing records broken all over...yes it's getting both warmer and colder in the winter, the part ignorant people can't figure out.

It's The Second Week Of July
And We're Almost 7" Of Precipitation Over For The Year
Sure Beats Sweltering Heat And Drought

This Is Our Most Successful Garden Ever
The Air Conditioning Is Off
And The Windows Are Wide Open
For That Cool Over-Nite Breeze

I'm Looking For August To Be Hot As Usual
I'm Growing Mint
Because I've Never Had A Mint Julep
A Julep With-Out A Steamy Summer Day
Just Don't Seem Right

Some of us who has been here for 80 years, know it is getting colder, not warmer. With the ice cores from the last age that ended on dec 21 2012. first we find that it was much colder but the Major Point is do not worry, if we stay on this rock we will get what is coming, for every thing repeats for eternity until someone intervenes and interupts the cycle. Be careful this intervention will disrupt the entire Universe and might deliver End of Days.

Records are broken every year. Why are these records special?

"[T]hermometer readings all around the world have risen steadily since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution."

https://skepticalscience.com/surface-temperature-measurements.htm

"We found [U.S. weather] stations located next to the exhaust fans of air conditioning units, surrounded by asphalt parking lots and roads, on blistering-hot rooftops, and near sidewalks and buildings that absorb and radiate heat. We found 68 stations located at wastewater treatment plants, where the process of waste digestion causes temperatures to be higher than in surrounding areas.

In fact, we found that 89 percent of the stations – nearly 9 of every 10 – fail to meet the National Weather Service’s own siting requirements that stations must be 30 meters (about 100 feet) or more away from an artificial heating or radiating/reflecting heat source."

"[T]hermometer readings all around the world have risen steadily since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution." Thermometer readings may have risen, no doubt...

Actually, the corrections in those devices used to measure temp's have been updated since around the late 90's; the period of time where temps seemed to be leveling off. Good point LTL!

So in other words, no matter what the worldwide climate is, CO2 emissions are causing it and destruction is just around the corner. If it's hotter worldwide, it is CO2 caused c*****e c****e. If it's colder worldwide, it is CO2 caused c*****e c****e. If there are droughts, it is CO2 caused c*****e c****e. It there are floods, it is CO2 caused c*****e c****e. If ice caps are shrinking, it is CO2 caused c*****e c****e. If ice caps are growing, it is CO2 caused c*****e c****e.

So those who want to say everything is caused by CO2 emissions, have no science understanding. Does CO2 have a greenhouse effect as the g****l w*****g enthusiasts said for decades? Or does it block the sun's warming rays as was the accepted scenario of the experts in the 70s who said CO2 emissions would lead to an ice age. So what do CO2 emissions do to our environment? It can't be both.

So enlighten this ignorant person.

And I forgot to mention; el nino, earthquakes, volcanos, plate techtonics, and even more or less sun spots; are all due to CO2 emissions.

Actually since long before the beginning of the industrial revolution. It just doesn't fit the narrative so they only start at the industrial revolution.

You have figured it out, Joy. No matter what happens, it is CO2 emissions by man that caused it.
