I can understand that. We have few here in our area of WI, but they tend to be very pushy and public about their prayer times and will demand places be cleared for their prayer rugs and things, no matter what else is going on around them-in public. I do not care what they do in private, but I don't want to watch their nonsense rituals, thank you. I realize they have specific times and things they must do to pray, but they also know what time it is, so could certainly plan better if they actually took anyone else's wishes into consideration. They are a small minority here, but I can only imagine what it would be like to live in an area where they are a larger minority or, heaven forbid, the majority. So rude. I do not openly disdain them, but certainly ignore them as much as possible. I won't give them the satisfaction of being nasty or in any way acting in a way that could be considered "persecution".
