How to lift yourself up
The things you need are character, honesty, integrity, hard work and education. The internal must be prepared before you see external results. We must work to keep a steady supply of income. We have to eat every day and pay bills each month. We shouldn’t put ourselves in a position where we have to take care of someone else, until we can take care of ourselves. God’s word is a shield. But a shield is useless if it is on the ground when an arrow is fired. Exodus 2014 will help more if you find out the person is married before you get involved with them, than after you get pregnant with a married man’s child. Deuteronomy 5:19 will help more if you don’t take things that don’t belong to you than if you get caught shoplifting.
