Permi, I h**e to have to light you up my friend, but is your ass sore from pulling the 6-8 month payback time out of it?

I just spoke with my son who has climbed thousands of them all over the country, and is currently inside one trying to figure out what it's problem is.

He told me that there are endless variables in payback time. Maintenence costs, contract variables, etc....

The wind farm he works on has 104 1.5 megawatt towers that bring in 60 bucks per megawatt hour. Many he has worked bring in as little as 6 bucks. And it's a 3 million dollar machine.

I told him what you said, and he told me to tell you you're full of s**t. It will take a minimum of 10 years for full payback in produced power.

He also told me that if you have any more questions, to send you his email, and he'll give you all of the accurate information you need.

This 32 year old kid has been to schools, and training all over the country, and like I said, has climbed, dismantled, and reassembled thousands of them. Also, he works for the largest energy corporation in the world. Literally. I consider him to be an expert on thos

I'm not sure it's anyone trying to silence you, as much as some Thing out of control. I suspect an algorithm, as the message is automated and you probably hit a trip wire. Can't tell you what that wire was....you'll have to ask the algorithm.

I could be wrong....I don't assume the site is being monitored 24/7 by live folks and that there is a background script that also monitors for specific phrases or words. But if you were reported, then that person has too thin of a skin and needs to get theirself to another site where unicorns and rainbows rule the discussions.

Actually, it is mellow here compared to what it used to be, and many of us have become friends, on both sides.
We wear each other out over this crap, and go home at the end of the day friendly.

And, as far as insults go, I'm seeing a LOT more from your side. The newer people here don't understand the relationships that have been developed over several years of interaction. They just join, and attack.

There should be some respect shown for relationships that have developed over time, but that isn't possible here thanks to you people who come in, and want to dominate this forum.
