The forty acres and a mule was blocked by the democrats not the republicans. In fact the b****s had a series of islands that they wanted to set up for that very program that would have been very fertile land and again the democrats blocked that as well.

The GI Bill? The one written by a largely Democrat Congress, signed into law by Dem President FDR and designed to accommodate Jim Crow laws. Is that the GI Bill you're talking about? R********ns has been brought up for decades, the only reason it is getting talked about now is because both sides will use it for motivation and then it will disappear again.
