Lonewolf that was a good headline and no direct attacks, you’re just asking for thoughts, thank you for being, well, nice.

It’s true some are being impacted by the tariffs. Can you explain how it’s ok for countries like China that charge up to 40% on many products we would like to send to their country and we have very little tariffs on their products? Most important question is: Who made these trade deals, names? Politicians sold us out is who. Tariffs are working and will continue to work until the playing field is leveled. I personally believe we should have free trading. That’s what congress needs to do. Any country can sell here as long as we can sell there and no tariffs on either side. Tariffs have long been in place, American companies have been the ones paying them.

President Trump must ignore those letters. These retailers fill the US with China's junks regardless of the effects to our economy. We must stop this or our country will not economically survive. China will dominate all commerce making the US consumers of all their junks.

Tariffs must continue. Mr. President please don't give up. The tariff is most needed to protecting our industries and to balance our trade. China's junks pouring to the US are like the illegal invaders pouring to the US. These are all the democrats' allies.

This is a prelude to socialism. Sanders, AOC, Omar, and Talib's friends. The t***sformation of America to socialism. They have all the i*****l a***ns, and the cheap junks from China.

I will write the president.

If Mexico does not cooperate, cut off annual US foreign aid. Continue the tariff at 25%.

US must have self-discipline . US are used to have cheap products. We have vast lands to plant our own, even in the backyards have plenty of spaces. But they don't want to dirty their hands but would rather handout. I see so many handouts going to the nail saloon with an inch or more length of finger nails. Most of them are Mexicans and b****s using welfare money to foot the bills.

How much foreign aid does the United States provide to Mexico?
In 2015, Mexico received $338 million in aid that was broadly classified as economic development and military assistance, according to the U.S. Agency for International Development, or USAID.

Aid for Economic development? Their vast lands are rich in natural resources, and beautiful sceneries.
Tourism alone could make them wealthy if they know how. Why are they poor for hundreds of years? It is the culture of people who inhabit it. Their brains are experts in making toxic drugs, and women making so many babies. Then run to the US to deliver their eggs for welfare.

The US aid has not been effective. Part of the aid was suppose to combat drug cartels but not an inch of improvement. It gets worst. Mexico by culture are not reliable and dishonest. As proven for years. It is the Hispanic culture.

Without tariffs China could dominate the whole world of commerce. They sell very cheap products due to their cheap labor force, therefore cheap overhead.
China's population is 1.4 billion 2017 GDP $12.24 trillion
$8,826.99 USD per capita (2017)

US population is 326 million GDP $19.5 trillion.
Date GDP per capita GDP P.C. Annual Growth
2017 $ 53,019€ 3.5%

China's quality of life a lot cheaper than US. Cheap labor and cheap products dumped to the US and around the world.

You can look to your taxes going up as our farmer go into bankruptcy .
Next will be the food shortages. Elimination of the middle class as they crumble under the weight of tariffs and trump tax cuts.
Retailers stock goods from China because you demand them and buy them!

Hardly lol. Retailers stock goods from China because Bill Clinton gave the c****es most favored nation status. Politicians sold us out with BS trade deals. Trump is putting an end to this. There will be some pain but will be well worth it in the end.

Planning is most important. The farmers will do just fine, survive well as our economy moves forward. We will in fact be the most important consumers of our own products. When must not depend on too much on imports. Besides there many other countries in Asia to market our farm products.
;
China's food products are loaded with toxin. Their meat like pork and Tilapia are all unsanitary and not healthy. It was proven that China's pork production are feed by human excrements, likewise Tilapia also. The waters where Tilapia are raised are very filthy, where their sewer system is being drained. Tilapia love it and they get very fat fishes. then sold to our fish markets. D********g. Don't buy those, they are raised very in a very unsanitary condition.

Tariffs are what this Country's income was founded on. There were no Govt. taxes except within local communities and that was more of a barter system. In the 1860s tariffs were a real reason for the Civil War. The Federal Govt. put huge tariffs on British goods coming into the South and cotton exports to Great Briton which was meant to break Southern States. The Southern States relied on British imports, The North, being industrial, didn't.

I stand by the President on the tariffs he is using to even the playing field. After WWI America bailed out the world to include our enemies, after WWII America bailed out the world again to include our enemies. AFTER the Korean war America bailed out South Korea and attempted to help North Korea without success. We have a leader of our Country who understands economics and fairness and has the balls to instigate fairness for our own Country.

The President is using tariffs in a manner of Teddy Roosevelt, carry a big stick but walk softly. They aren't being used across the board but judicially. So far he's hit a homer. Whether that will hold up we'll have to wait and see. My bet is on him being the winner because what ever you want to say about the man, HE DON'T BACK DOWN! Mike

Mexico will never work with us. And they can’t guarantee that Central America will keep up their end...they didn’t even sign the agreement.
