Amos chapter 4

Verse 1

We should care for the less fortunate. The least fortunate in America are unborn children. We have murdered around 70 million of them. If you are lucky enough. To have a job, you should work for them. You should not get high at work.

Verse 2 and 3

What Israel thought pleased God really made Him sick to His stomach. Assyria would take the larger northern part of the children of Jacob.

Verse 4 and 5

Bethel is where Jeroboam, the first king of Israel when the children of Jacob split into two nations, set up another golden calf for Israel to worship.Because Israel didn’t do what God liked and avoid what He hates, they lost everything they had.

Verse 6 - 12

Israel learned nothing from the things God put them through. As adults, we need to ask what we could have done when we go thru negative situations/
