I think Congressional pay should be cut. Politics should be temporary work, not a career. Occasio-Cortez should go back to wh**ever work she did prior to coming to Washington.

Strange thing about Congress, the keeper of the nation's purse, can v**e to give themselves a raise. Before 1992 Congress could v**e to give themselves a raise at any time. Then Gregory Watson, a sophomore at the University of Texas, found an amendment to the Constitution that had not been ratified.... He put it back on the dockets and because of this, the 27th Amendment became part of our Constitution (1992) which requires an e******n had to happen before any pay raise could take effect. So, like most of the Democrats' actions, this may come back to haunt them during the 2020 e******ns. So, you have the keys.... v**e the Democrats out of office before they can receive one cent of their pay increase!

No! When they start handling country affairs and taking care of it and actually earn a salary then one can be considered. Right now they make way too much money for doing absolutely nothing!
