You Tube is boring. We need a replacement: I see the same things over and over. Nothing is fresh. It's boring. Someone will make a lot of money if they can replace it.

I am not happy unless I have my nose in a book. I have an ebook (Nook), and found a site that has books for under $5 and quite a few that are even free....it's called BookBub. I've been using that site for several years.

Hi Emily, I recently found refuge in Youtube from the boring. It came in the form of Asian movies. If you can handle subtitles (it gets easier) then try movies from Philippines, China & Japan. They're not predictable like U.S. movies. For starters take a look at 'Secret', 'The Promise', 'Don't Worry, I'm a Ghost' or 'Only You Can Hear Me'. The last one is similar to the U.S. movie 'The Lake House'.

I think you'll find it a nice change. And since I see that you're a reader you shouldn't have any trouble. If you like what you see I can recommend a few more. What I like best is that you never know how they're gonna end.

I have a subscription to biggeekdad....get daily emails. I like the "This is Your Internet" series.

But it's not easy finding things like that until you know about them. I recently found a bunch of videos of Jeff Allen. He's a comedian I think is pretty funny. But I've watched them all by now.

Sometimes my meandering through YouTube brings me to things I don't like and so I stop watching...so I always welcome ideas. Thanks!

I call it 'the rabbithole'. Once you find yourself watching something on youtube, you're going down the rabbithole. An hour later, you look around and wonder how you got there.
